Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

I wore these shoes on a West Coast Trail hike (~50 miles). Quite comfortable, no blisters, which is rare. Lightweight. Good traction. Quick drying, did not acquire any smells despite 4 days in wet and muddy conditions. Not sure about durability, I put them to some abuse and the white stripes and letters lost the white layer, otherwise no damage. I initially ordered a half size too large and then swapped for a smaller pair. So far it seems to be a good choice for my purpose of a lightweight hiking shoe for fast and light backpacking.

Super light, very warm, performs well in the rain and snow. Great for wearing in town and on trail. Very happy with it.

BTW, careful with the red colors, those are not just red, but fluorescent orange. Computer monitors don't do it justice. You will go blind. Mine is black. Wish Patagonia made a darker red, or lime or something like.

Positives: it's very lightweight and feels warm. Negatives: a little too long and too wide (I wear medium), looks somewhat awkward. The bright yellow one I ordered is almost transparent and dark lining shows through. Sleeves are just barely long enough. After some thought decided to look elsewhere.

I use this as a primary canyoneering pack. Too bad the new years model is different (all kinds of useless buckles, loops, etc. Heavier too!). Make a few holes in the bottom for drainage and this is the best pack for wet canyons. It works fine in dry canyons as well. Nothing survives a narrow sandstone slot, but this pack resisted it pretty well. In fact, I had no serious holes in after a year of use. The first thing to go where the straps and buckles. This is the second one I got.

It's a headlamp. It seems to work. It's small and reasonably priced. It's very similar to my old one from BD, except it's got 2 LEDs not 3.

However, BD has added A PHILIPS SCREW to the battery compartment. There's a small screwdriver in the package. Really? Am I supposed to carry a special screwdriver at all times on trips so I can swap out batteries in a headlamp? Seems like an afterthought to fix a design screw up.

These are a good balance between weight and durability. There are lighter dry bags but not strong enough. I use them for canyoneering (inside a pack) and sea kayaking. Also on backpacks where I need to swim with the pack. Two of these (35L each) is sufficient to fit all gear on a backpack. Too bad these seem to be discontinued.

I have an older model, had it for 3-4 years. Love this tent. Used it on Mt.Rainier, in Wyoming's Wind River range, on the Pacific shore, in Utah desert. Car camping, backpacking, mountaineering. Very spacious, had a big guy for a tent mate once, no problem. Never leaks. Wind resistance is good, but add two extra guy lines. The tent is light -- 2kg old model with no stakes (I use rocks). Research it there's nothing lighter among the double wall tents. Super easy setup, can stress this enough, super easy. Very good pole configuration, symmetrical and no awkward or useless parts. Vertical walls create a lot of head room, no issues like touching walls with your face. Very good quality, no leaks or tears after 3 years of use. The fabric is not super thin, does not feel fragile. The floor fabric is strong enough to use without a footprint in reasonable conditions (sand, grass, flat sandstone).
