Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The IPO truly is a completely different approach to the traditional binding layup. This is achieved through placing the baseplate that flexes similar to a skateboard truck and places the flex point directly under the middle of your foot rather than at the heel and toe of the binding. This drastically reduces the fatigue on your foot while really transferring energy to the toe and heel edges of your board. That means you ride comfortable for longer! Also the heelcup has been mimicked to be taller than traditional heelcups, which allows for a bit shorter of a highback. The great thing about this is the phenomenon known as "binder bang" is basically eliminated. These bindings fall in the medium stiffness range so they are great for basically any riding style you can throw at them. Enjoy a binding that actually works with you, rather than just keeping you attached to your board.
