I have been wearing only North Face trail runners for several years for various activities, but mostly for dayhiking, backpacking and trail-running. These shoes fit the bill for all of these activities. They are very breathable, my feet don't sweat in these, are flexible but yet very supportive for my low-arched, low-volume foot that tends to over-pronate moderately. Toe box is not too large like the majority of other shoes out there (I prefer a smaller toe box since my foot is low-volume). I only dayhike and backpack in trail-runners versus mids or boots (blah!), and these are perfect for me. Plus, the hard toe cap really prevents toe-jamming and protects the toes on long treks. Highly recommended shoe!!

This is one of my favorite technical t-shirts. It's super comfy, lightweight, truly does have an antimicrobial feature that kept me from stinking in hot, sweaty conditions, wicks very well, and to top it all off, it is flattering and looks good! Oh, and the colors are bright and beautiful! Wish they came in more colors. These are true to size, not too large, not too small. I am 5'6", 130 lbs and ordered a small. Perfect.

I love this setup. Everything fits nicely into the mesh carrying sac. Excellent for car camping, doesn't take up much space, lightweight and durable. I have the green and it's a fun, bright color. Good for backpacking, too. I don't take the entire set backpacking, but do take the insulated coffee mug and bowl and it's just perfect.

Not so great as it turns out. I have an hourglass but yet athletic body shape, with a smaller waist and larger hips and I found that the waist fit perfectly (since it was smaller-cut) but the hips were way too tight. These pants don't fit that well for women with some shape. Boy-shaped types would probably like the cut. Nice concept with the zip-offs and the shorts part not being overly long, though. I ended up returning these in search of ones more suitable for my body type

This is a fairly comfortable techincal tshirt. It was a little bit tight in the shoulders/chest and huge in the waist. I am not busty, but still found the upper half of the shirt to be too tight and the lower half was super baggy. Not very flattering. I was looking for a shirt that didn't hold in the stink, and even though this one claimed that it was anti-microbial, it still held in the stank. Yuck. But it did breathe pretty well and kept me cool. So I guess it's just an ok shirt. I prefer Under Armour, CW-X, Helly-Hansen and North Face over Columbia when it comes to antimicrobial and actually delivering the claim

I tried these on at REI, and the rise is perfect. I'd say they're a comfy mid-rise. Definitely not high rise and not so low that things show when you sit down or bend over. I am going to buy these when they go on sale. Super comfy. True to size in my opinion.

This top is pretty good. The good aspects are that it does live up to it's claim that it's antimicrobial, so it doesn't stink when you've been sweating all day o the trail, and it does wick quite well. However, the only complaint is that the color on the website is MUCH darker than the actual color of the shirt. But that is not Backcountry's fault. Ex Officio's site has the misleading color as well. The only other complaint is that there is a seam right above the chest that goes across the entire chest area that is a bit annoying when your pack straps press against it. Otherwise, a pretty decent shirt.

This cap/hat is perfect for rafting on the river, hiking, and is lightweight, very comfortable, and blocks out all the sun off of your ears and neck. It's very versatile in that you can change up the neck flap depending on whether you want more or less coverage. Great on the water, dries fast, great for hiking for excellent sun protection. Highly recommended.

This top not only fits well and complements the body, but is very comfortable, dries quickly and has excellent arm hole openings, so when you're sweating up a storm while hiking, your pits don't get nasty. Good air flow. Great under a pack as well. Swam in lakes with this shirt and it dried very quickly and did not stink after all that, either. An excellent choice.

Got this pant for climbing and hiking/trekking, and it has done the job very well. Shorter, capri length excellent for climbing or for hotter hiking days, has a very flattering fit, and moves with your body. Highly recommended to any active woman who wants comfort with the added plus of a flattering fit.

I have several pairs of this pant, and am bummed that Mountain Hardwear discontinued it. It was the best all-around pant there was out there. Thank goodness this site has some left!! I've used this pant for multiple sports...hiking, rock climbing, trekking, etc. It can handle it all. Durable fabric that is thicker than most but yet it moves with you as it has a stretch component, so you don't feel restricted at all reaching for that toe hold, etc. Kept me warm on winter climbs and to top it all off, has a very flattering fit. This is the best pant ever!
