Hi there, I just came back from the arcteryx store here in vancouver, bc where I was trying on the theta bib and tough luck on the sizing. With arcteryx products, small always fits perfectly but with these pants I found S to be a but too baggy around my waist and bum. I tried on an XS and while waist was a nice flattering fit the hips were too tight in XS. It also depends what you typically wear under your ski pants. If a pair of light-medium weight long johns then I'd say a Small will be all right.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I have an older model of these pants (from 5 years ago) and I love them but because they're wearing out I need to replace them. I've tried this year's and last year's models of Arcteryx Theta SV bib and they are TOO LONG to the point that the legs bunch up when worn over ski boots and it just looks awkward and the extra fabric gets in the way. Very disappointed because they otherwise fit true to the size and have a flattering fit/pattern.

I loved these pants from the moment I first tried them on! They fit really nicely and the cut is smooth and flattering. The material seems it will last a through a lot of backcountry use. The manufacturer claims the material is water-repellent but that is true only when the pants are new. I wouldn't really recommend them for winter sports (not waterproof, not warm enough) but they are absolute no.1 for mountaineeringa and backpacking.

I bought these gloves with an idea of using them for biking and potentially light scrambling becasue I like the fact that they're lightweight and have grippy pattern on the palms. Well - just after week of using them the material started pilling pretty badly and they show heavy signs of wear. Fair, I am not using them for what the manufacturer made them for but then - who would buy a new pair gloves just to be able to adjust volume on an iPod???
