Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am a total novice in regards to trekking poles and I want to thank BC staff for the patience with me. For starters, I thought I was missing the carbide tips, just hadn't unpacked everything. There were rubber tips on the poles when I recd them and the carbide tips were enclosed in a small plastic bag. I chose these poles for the complete ease of packing them for a trip to the Swiss Alps for a long hiking trip. They performed great, I was able to adjust the length on the trail as I needed. I wasn't completely happy with the grips but I used glove liners to make them more comfortable. As the days went by I relaxed and loosened my grip and they were fine. I compared these with the Leki Aragon Cressida and I found it hard to make a choice but I decided on these because of the packing issues.
