Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

BIG thank you to Backcountry.com and Spacecraft for hand-selecting me to review this awesome piece of gear for the benefit of the Backcountry.com community.

I took this beanie with me on an overnight trip to the eastern Sierras, and I'm glad I did! I wore it the whole time, even while I was sitting in the hot spring. The beanie kept my head and ears warm. It served its purpose and made me look super cool while hiking around.

This beanie is soft and cozy. Not itchy on my forehead. It fits comfortably, not too tight. This isn’t one of those super slouchy beanies though, it has more shape. It gives my head a nice warm hug. My head circumference is 58 cm. You can fold down the sides if you have a bigger head, giving you more room for your noggin! The knit on the acrylic is nice and thick.

I have the Moss style, and the colors are accurate to the pictures on the website. The beanie seems to be well constructed, as all of Spacecraft stuff is! Spacecraft takes pride in manufacturing high quality products as stated in their mission statement--

"Spacecraft has always been about the process of making and experimentation. Though not always the quickest or easiest route, this method of interaction yields highly refined offerings of art and product."

I appreciate that Spacecraft takes a special interest in bringing art and culture to its products. I would recommend this beanie and will continue to buy cool looking stuff from this company.

WISH I WAS TALLER!

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

This bag is BEAUTIFUL! But I'm 5 feet, and it is just too long for me. If I wear it on my shoulder, the bottom of the bag almost hits me at the knee :( I had a hard time returning this bag because it is so beautifully made. Absolutely nothing wrong with this product. And the company is awesome! But you might reconsider if you're a shorty like me.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I LOVE these boots! I was on a mission to find a boot that was casual and fashionable but didn't compromise on comfort and durability. These boots are it! A rubber sole and a water resistant upper make them perfect for precipitous, icy or cold conditions on the street without appearing super nerdy like obvious technical wear. They are so comfortable! I have narrow feet and usually wear a 6.5 in womens. I bought the 6.5 and they fit great! Even room for thick wool socks. The leather is soft and hardly needed any breaking in. I wouldn't go hiking through the snow and mud in these things, but they're perfect for cruising around town.

Fit: True to size

So happy with this purchase! The material is so soft and cozy but still wicks moisture great during hot yoga. The purple color is beautiful and vibrant. The cut and shape is flattering. I am 5ft, 115 lbs, size 2 bottoms/26 waist. I normally wear a small in bottoms, but I ordered an extra small and it's perfect!
