Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I love this shoe. Defiantly one of the most aggressive shoes on the market great for over hanging sport routes or technical bouldering problems. I've climbed just about anything in them to Moab slab to gym climbing, to overhanging sport, to multi pitch. They work for everything but work the best for overhanging sport routes and technical bouldering problems. They have a very tight fit I sized down about three full sizes they have an amazing heel box for heel hooking

This is my favorite harness! You could use this all seasons of the year I plan on using it all around the year! It's an awesome harness super light and very comfortable arc'teryx makes great harnesses and my next one will defiantly be one! Super durable harness I've beat this thing.

This is my first set of draws, and they are great. Yes they are expensive, but these are the best you can buy. These don't twist at all, with the thick dog-bone. They are heavier than other draws, but who cares. Both the 'biners are great, you have the dynotron on top and the livewire on the bottom. Both very high quality Carabiners. All i can say is they are excellent. Wish they offered them in different lengths. Great Draws, would recommend them to anyone.

I have the Livewire quickdraws, so these come with those draws. The width is great for sport climbing and they dont twist. Yes they are a little heavier than the thin dynex ones. But i would choose these over the dynex any day. I have 8 of the 12cm, 2 of the 18cm. and 2 of the 25cm. The 18cm isnt sewed at the top, so the 'biner can slide around and drop and can get weird on the harness. Other than that great dogbones.

This is an average carabiner. Its not super light. Its the right size. Has a good gate opening, and is very durable and cheap. If you need some extra carabiners in case you need to bail on a route these are good because they are cheap, and strong. Or if you need an extra few for anything these are a good choice. They do the job, everybody should have a half dozen of these. I would defiantly recommend them.

I got these for belaying. And they are great for that. The leather palm is reinforced, and you have amazing grip on the rope when belaying. You can lower somebody without burning your hands, and with excellent control. I haven't had these gloves for to long. But i am sure the durability will be fine, and these will last for a very long time. the Biner loops in each glove are great for clipping to your harness. Great gloves, would recommend to anyone.

This is a great cooking system. If your going to be gourmet cooking in the back country, you have everything you'll need in this. If you are just going to be eating dehydrated meals, then you can take the pot and lid, which is super light. The whole system is not that heavy at about 1 LBS. 7 OZ. Its a great kit add some utensils, and a small salt and pepper shaker and your set. The only downside is its pretty expensive at $100.00. Other than that its great and i would recommend this to anyone.

I've had two pairs of these the first pair the toe split only after a month, and the second pair are going great. These shoes stretch a lot. I wear a size 9 street shoe and got a 7 and they were super tight at first but they broke in great. These shoes will die your feet red, but that's not a biggie. These shoes are great for beginners. They are fairly sticky and good flexibility. I would recommend these to any beginner climber.

These are great backpacking boots. They didn't have much of a break in time. They are pretty stiff, but i like that when you have a heavy load. I've probably only walked around 50 or so miles on them, so i cant say a ton on the durability, but they still look brand new. They are great boots and i never got hot sports or blisters from these boots. Overall i would recommend these to anyone.

The grigri 2 is an excellent assisted braking belay device. This can be the safest belay device out there if the operator knows how to use it, and uses it correctly. I've used this from top roping, sport climbing, and gym climbing. It works great in all applications. The assisted braking works perfectly, and you can lower the climber with excellent control. I have not used the original grigri but this one is great. I would recommend this to any climber, it is super safe and a great device.

I don't think I've ever had a flavor of a Clif Bar that i disliked. I haven't tried every flavor of Clif Bar, but every one i have is delicious. My favorites are Blueberry Crisp, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Peanut Crunch, Chocolate Chip, and Gary's Panforte. These bars are great and give you some energy and fill you up. Whether your at home, on the trail, climbing, whatever these are the best energy bar you can get, and they taste delicious. Clif Bar also makes great tasting shots, blocks, and tons of other stuff. Simply the best.

This are my favorite shorts I've ever had. I wear these climbing, hiking, backpacking, and wearing around town, they are very comfortable, stylish, and excellent range of motion. I got a pair of black when they were on sale to see if i would like them, and they are great. I plan on getting each color. The pockets are great and stuff doesn't seem to fall out if you sit down. The cargo pockets are really nice, if there is nothing in them, you can barely tell they have cargo pockets. These are great shorts, they are a little expensive. Arc'teryx is one of the best and i would recommend these to any climber or hiker, or anybody for that matter.

I always have one in my pack, along with my first aid kit, and some other emergency gear. There is no reason why not to have one, it's lightweight(Mine weighed in at 4.2 ounces), inexpensive, and much better then a emergency blanket. I hope I never have to use it, but I know it's there if I have too. Buy one or a couple, it's the peace of mind knowing its there. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great lightweight first aid kit. It pretty much comes with everything you would need. Added a few things to personalize it, and there is enough room for those add ons. It's super lightweight, mine weighed 8.5 ounces. It packs small in the pack. And is great for where you might come into contact with water. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great lightweight first aid kit.

This is a great breakfast from mountain house. One thing I've noticed with mountain house is the recommended amount of water is always to much. Not a biggie though just drain the excess water. This is really good for coming out of a package. The eggs can be a little mushy, but it still tasted great. I would recommend this to anyone.

This is another great meal from mountain house. Like most mountain house meals for two, are not enough for two people, and if you use the instructed amount of water it is always to runny. I would say use 4-5 ounces less than The instructions. Other than that this meal is great and delicious, it would even be good if you weren't hungry after a long day on the trail. I would recommend this to anyone.
