The ski pants are pretty good, I'd prefer if they had some extra pockets, but they do the job. I bought a pair in white and was satisfied with their performance. A word of warning with regards to washing and drying: I washed mine in cold water as suggested and dried in dryer at a low temperature. The dryer did not dry the pants completely, so they were still moist when I took them out. I laid them flat on the bed to dry. The next day, the black material at the bottom had leaked color and had stained the white! So, I had to re-wash them again, using stain remover (not bleach) and dried them for over 1 hour in the dryer to make sure they are completely dry. Also, when I had the pants dry in the apartment, there was yellow discoloration around the waist and zipper. So, make sure you completely dry the garment in the dryer, otherwise the black will stain it. I was quite disappointed with this and this is the reason I am not giving this item 5 stars.

I purchased this backpack for an upcoming ski trip. I have not used it yet, but it looks amazing. My husband noted that this is the Cadillac of all backpacks. It is very beautifully designed and extremely stylish. The backpack is very light, you almost don't feel anything and feels very soft and comfortable on the back. It has three main compartments: one small one, which is isolated and can hold small items, like cell phone, keys or wallet; a second larger one, which has a soft pocket for your goggles; and the main one, which has the hydration reservoir pocket. The workmanship looks amazing and the quality is extremely high. Every little detail has been thought of. There are straps to carry your skis or snowboard and one top and one bottom strap that wrap around your chest and waist for more comfortable fit. I am really excited about this backpack and cannot wait to try it on the slopes.

I think after reading the excellent reviews here, I had too high expectations of that fleece. When I got it in the mail, I was disappointed at first. It is not as soft as I expected. Don't get me wrong, it is a very nice fleece, but it's not from the softest kind. It has medium softness. Also, it is a big bigger than what I expected. I also purchased the Mountain Hardwear Monkey Woman Fleece Jacket, which runs smaller and is softer. Now, that Mountain Hardwear fleece is exactly the kind I though the Columbia fleece would be, but again it is also much more expensive. So, for the cost it is a good fleece, but not the softest out there and it runs a bit big. It is also a no frills fleece, without too many details.

I purchased this fleece in November when it was on sale and I am so glad I did. It is very soft, the color is great, I got the purple. The fit is regular, I am 5'6" and 117 pounds and I ordered Small, which fits perfectly. It has a nice design and in all honesty when I look at people on the street wearing The North Face fleeces, mine looks more luxurious and more unique. I am very happy I purchased it and I wear it a lot. I got it mostly for my ski trip this month, as I needed a middle layer, but I am also wearing it almost daily when I go out, or go to yoga or gym class. It is really warm! Since it's not that cold here yet, I actually have to unzip it as it gets really hot. But this is great because it means it will be very warm in the cold weather. I highly recommend it!
