I bought this to wear in the field out in the sun so that I don't get sunburned, but I have a feeling that I will be wearing this every chance I get - sunny, cloudy, snowy, whatever. This shirt fits amazingly well and the sleeves are extra long so that they cover your hands when your thumbs are using the holes, which I love but it may not be for everyone. I am 5"8 125lbs and the small fits like a dream. Its long enough to cover your love handles and is soft to the touch. I wore out in 92F weather today and it protected my skin and never got smelly. Will probably buy in another color as I will likely wear this every day for the rest of my life.....

Haven't taken this off since I got it in the mail. The fleece is super dense, but softer than any other fleeces I've ever had. Long enough for my tall torso and long arms and has a really nice feminine cut (5"8, 130 lbs, small fits PERFECTLY). I bought the magnetic color and found that it's got a slightly more purple/wine tone rather than the fuchsia hues that the picture shows, but I still love it (it could just be my computer!). It also has a nice high collar, which I love, and the hood is cozy and not bulky. This is much warmer than TNF Denali and looks a lot nicer on!

I bought this jacket to keep the cold out on a September Yukon trip. I was disappointed that there weren't reinforced elbows like the older versions, and the wind went right through it! It ended up staying back at the tent most of the trip while I layered some less bulky base layers under a Patagonia retro-x vest to take it's place (best vest EVER). Although I think it's a great fleece to wear around the house all winter to stay cozy (it's super soft!), it's not my choice for outdoor activities. Returning it and going to try out the Norrona Warm3 instead.
