Fun Bike and worth every penny!
5 5

I had the opportunity to ride this bike at Outerbike in Moab this year and had an absolute blast on it. The bike was so light weight and agile i totally forgot i was riding a rigid fatbike. If you are in the market for something to ride over the winter months in the snow or in the sand this is definitely the fatbike to get!

SO MUCH FUN!!!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

i recently had the opportunity of riding this bike in Moab and had an absolute blast! Ive been on fatbikes in the past and found them to be heavy and sluggish-but not this bike. The bike comes in around 28.5 lbs and was extremely agile on the trail and the more traditional mtn bike geometry made the bike feel very balanced and at times I forgot i was on a fatbike. The frame is just stiff enough to allow impressive handling in spite of the big tires. The nicest feature of the bike is the Rockshox Bluto fork. its lightweight, simple to use and really expands the abilities of the bike allowing you to take it places you have only dreamed about on a fatbike. It actually feels like it has 5-6 inches of travel allowing you to maneuver over the trickest terrain with ease. Probably the coolest feature of the bike is its ability to run a 29+ wheelset (available through Borealis). it makes the bike very versatile allowing you to swap out the wheels for a skinnier version for the hot,dry summer months and swap back to the fat wheels for the mud and snow season. It like having 2 bikes! so to sum it up this bike is an absolute blast to ride and highly recommended. It sure kept a smile on my face :)

If you have any questions about the bike feel free to contact me direct. My email address is wbranham@competitivecyclist.com or 801-736-6396 x 4074.
I can order the 29+ wheels as well.

The Rip 9 RDO is one of the best all around bikes we currently have-and one of the best values too. Ive had the opportunity of riding this bike several times and I was very impressed with the ride quality. I found the bike handled very well of lots of different terrain and did especially well in climbing and tight, twitchy singletrack. The suspension platform that Niner uses gives the bike a really grounded feel and I also found that it did not squat down when accelerating or bob when climbing. The X01 drive train is just icing on the cake for this frame. 1x11 is definitely the way to go and is a real compliment to the bike. All in all I was very impressed and would definitely recommend this bike for a beginner or seasoned racer.

had a chance to ride this bike over a long weekend. My initial impressions of this bike are good. The 5 inches of travel and steeper head angle (68 degrees) makes this bike a nice choice for longer, epic type rides vs the Bronson. The bikes geometry is very comfortable and I found the sizing (large) to be perfect for me,being 5'11. The bike handles very good and it performed well in tight single track, moderate jumps and ledges (nice platform for landing) and great acceleration. All in all the bike performed well and I would definitely recommend it- not only for value but performance as well.

One of the best deals around!
5 5

had the chance to ride this bike at Outerbike recently and it was,by far, my favorite ride of the weekend. I immediately felt at home on this bike with its ample stand over height, low bottom bracket and well-balanced geometry. That combo made the bike very snappy and agile with awesome flick ability on the trail. The bike also accelerated very well, especially in steep sections and the 5 inches of travel I felt was a great compliment to the 27.5 wheel size. I really enjoyed this bike and I feel 100% certain you will too!

Awesome Bike Brand-Amazing Value!
5 5

Of all of the boutique brands we sell Ibis is my favorite. Having owned a Ripley I can tell you that they make their bikes with precise detail and outstanding quality. Ibis really focuses on the customer experience and the majority of their bikes are sold by word of mouth. This really says a lot about the type bikes they are putting out. The Mojo HDR was their first stab at 27.5 all mountain steed and they really did a nice job. i had the opportunity of riding this bike number several times at different demo's and was very impressed with the ride quality. The DW link suspension is an anti squat - stiffer type of platform that really allows you to efficiently climb hills and sprint out of the saddle without the bike bobbing down on you. This gives you a sense of feeling grounded and very stable. The suspension only kicks in when you need it to making this bike fast and furious. Also, Its slack headtube angle allows the bike to really pick up steam and soar downhill. Going up or coming down this bike is loads of fun. $3499.00 is an amazing deal for a full carbon/XT bike like this so they will not last long. i would strongly recommed grabbing one before they disappear.

What a bike!!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I recently had the very fortunate opportunity of riding this bike for a couple of hours down in Moab and I must say I was extremely impressed. So impressed that I actually bought it! i felt the bike handled very well over lots of varied terrain. It definitely excels in climbing and this is largely due to the single pivot design working in conjunction with the CTD rear shock making for a very stable suspension platform. Its also light as hell, weighing in at just 22.7 pounds. Lightweight and nimble. In my 20 years of riding XC bikes this is the best of the best and I highly recommend you picking one up if you have the means.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

i recently had the pleasure of riding this bike for several hours and I must say I was very impressed with it. The RDO stands for Race Day Optimized and it has one goal-to get you across the finish line first! i found the bike handled extremely well over varied terrain. It definitely excels in out of the saddle climbing as it has a stiff bottom bracket giving the bike an unmistakable feeling of surging forward with every stroke of the pedal. It also felt very grounded when decending and i was able to really let it go as the balanced geometry gave me a very confident experience. The bike is very comfortable too which sometimes is the downfall of a stiff hardtail. I rode the bike for 3+ hours and did not feel beat up when i got off of it. All in all this bike is a steal for this price. If you are looking to up your game with one of the fastest, most comfy hardtails on the market, the Air 9 RDO is definitely the bike for you.

Awesome buy!
5 5

I just had the opportunity of riding this awesome bike for a couple of days and really loved the ride quality. The bike was designed to withstand cobblestones and rough roads, has a longer wheelbase than the Dogma, a slightly more relaxed geometry and can run up to a 28mm tire so perfect for winter riding or gravel grinding. . I found the bike to be extremely comfortable on long rides yet very responsive when getting out of the saddle and hammering down. Deals like this dont come around often and at $3499.00 this bike is a steal. We have a very limited number of these so I would suggest grabbing one before they are gone.

The Tallboy has been one of our best selling bikes over the last few years, and for good reason. There are still plenty of people who believe 29rs are the best practical XC bikes. Ive had been on the Tallboy several times and love the ride quality and geometry of this bike. It has a very nice, balanced geometry which allows it to feel well grounded on the trail without feeling too squirlish. It performs really nicely on climbs as it is light weight and agile and also allows you to rip it going down hill. Whether going up or down the bike is a great choice for an all around XC bike that you can certainly race with and also do longer epic rides for just fun.

If you have specific questions or need help configuring it shoot me an email at wbranham@competitivecyclist.com

I have had the opportunity of riding this bike several times and love it. For a long travel bike it is extremely efficient on the trail, climbs well and rips downhill. Probably its best attribute is its balanced feel on the trail-from front to back and never noticed the suspension bottoming out. The suspension has a very controlled feeling and makes the ride quality buttery smooth. Adding the 1x11 set up is icing on the cake! Whether you are racing or joy riding its definitely a bike that will leave a smile on your face and i highly recommend it.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I just recently purchased this bike after much debate over several brands.Being in the bike industry I have the opportunity to demo many bikes and after riding several models the Ripley rose to the top. This bike performs extremely well over various types of terrain and conditions. Its light weight and very responsive. The unusually short wheelbase (close to a 26" bike) makes it ridiculously flickable and fast in twisty singletrack, big wheels and all! Even tight uphill switchbacks are no problem. I chose to match the frame with the 120mm G2 Fox fork which matches the 120mm of rear travel giving the bike a more balanced feel from front to back. Its a bike you can certainly be deadly on the race track with but feel at home doing long, epic rides with your buddies on the weekend. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.
