This bike is an amazing value.I have had the opportunity of riding this bike several times over the summer and really enjoyed ripping it around the trails of Utah. Its very well rounded. Most definitely a lethal race machine as it is stiff and lightweight (build weight as shown is under 23 lbs) but shockingly its comfortable,as well. This is largely due to the over sized tubes, big tires and clever carbon layup by Niner. The icing on the cake for this build is the sweet X01 drive train (1x11) The X01 is extremely efficient on the trail. Say goodbye to chain throwing with this set up! It shaves weight too . If you have never experienced 1x11 on the trail its time to make the switch. I highly recommend adding this stud to your stable.

***This is a custom build so components can be switched out .If we are out of your size we can do this same build on a 2014 Air 9 Carbon frame still at a great price.

This is an amazing ride at an incredible value. I have had the opportunity of riding the Helium and i must say it is special. Very light weight (this build weighs in at 16 pounds) and handles extremely well climbing and descending. Its just stiff enough to punch out amazing power yet still incredibly comfortable for longer distances. Combine that with the durability of Ultegra 6800 (11speed) group, the stability of HED Ardennes LT Wheels and a dependable Zipp cockpit makes this bike very well rounded and competitive. If you have the means I highly recommend picking it up (while they last!)
This bike is a custom build so if you want to specify cranks, stem lengths or cassette let me know.

had the opportunity to ride this bike at Outerbike in Moab this year and had an absolute blast on it. The bike was so light weight and agile i totally forgot i was riding a rigid fatbike. I was actually hammering alongside guys with regular mtn bikes. According to Borealis this bike weighs in at 28 lbs without pedals-very nice for a fatbike. If you are in the market for something to ride over the winter months in the snow or in the sand this is definitely the fatbike to get!

Wilier has done a great job filling the gap between the Blade TT and the Cento1SR road bike with their newest offering-Cento1Air. They spent ample time in the wind tunnel testing the frame and reinforced their findings with plenty of road time to create a very responsive race bike that is less susceptible to the wind. Wilier designed drag reducing frame tubes, aero post and seat stays that attach low on the seat tube to reduce the airflow, much like the Blade but with the looks of the SR. The frame also has a nice , stiff bottom bracket allowing you to punch out plenty of power yet providing a very nice, smooth quality ride if distance is your thing. All in all, this is a very fun, fast bike to own , sure to leave a smile on your face and its no mystery that Bicycling Magazine listed this as one of their top pics for 2014

Awesome Bike!!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had the chance to ride this bike at Outerbike recently and it was,by far, my favorite ride of the weekend. I immediately felt at home on this bike with its ample stand over height, low bottom bracket and well-balanced geometry. That combo made the bike very snappy and agile with awesome flick ability on the trail. The bike also accelerated very well, especially in steep sections and the 5 inches of travel I felt was a great compliment to the 27.5 wheel size. I look forward to the carbon version one day!. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.

This is one of the better mtn bikes we offer on CC and probably the best value for your money. The Tallboy is a light weight, agile Xc bike that performs well under lots of different types of terrain. It climbs extremely well and is ultra-comfortable on epic rides but can be a deadly racer on the circuit. I have had the opportunity to ride this bike several times and i must say it always leaves a smile on my face. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.
These are custom builds so components are changeable. I would be happy to assist you with any questions or price quotes for upgrades. My direct line is 801-736-6396 x 4074 or e-mail wbranham@competitivecyclist.com

** if you dont see your size available we could switch the frame for a Tallboy 2-still at an amazing deal. Contact me for details.

This is one of the better mtn bikes we offer on CC and probably our best selling mtn bike for the past 4 years. The Tallboy is a light weight, agile Xc bike that performs well under lots of different types of terrain. The XX bike would weigh in around 24.5 lbs.It climbs extremely well and is ultra-comfortable on epic rides but can be a deadly racer on the circuit. The VPP suspension has a little more plush feel on the trail but doesn't zap your energy when you climb. I have had the opportunity to ride this bike several times and i must say it always leaves a smile on my face. If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.
