Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bib pants are an extremely versatile item to have in your pack. The lightweight design coupled with base-layer stacking lets you tackle anything from alpine skiing to midsummer hiking. The full length side zippers allows for easy access to your ski boots, or bunched up socks. I wouldn't wear anything other than bib pants. The suspenders keep your pants up and the bib keeps your butt dry. These pants are rugged and haven't torn in years of use. The waterproofing has been flawless over the years as well. As a disclaimer I am reviewing this product as a member of MountainTechs, a Gore-Tex program.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this jacket last spring. Its been through everything with me. Powder days in the back country to groomers on opening day. After buying my first shell, I would never go back. It is incredibly versatile jacket. As far as the Arc'teryx Rush jacket goes, I really like the weight of the shell. The material is lightweight and easy to move in. I've worn shells before that were 'too much jacket' I think this shell is a good balance between rugged durability and lightweight maneuverability. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who can afford it. Just as a disclaimer, I am part of a group that tests gear for Gore-Tex.
