OHIO, New York and the winter trips out west.
Pretty good looking helmet.
Good fit for me, but i can see where issues can arise for other size/ dimension heads.
Venting slide sometimes freezes
Large egg shape looks very odd on alot of peoples head.
Got a large in black. Fit is loose, material is very breathable and quick drying, my favorite shirt to wear on hot days. The only issue i have is that i only own one... Thatll change soon.
Got 1020 yellow.
Durable case, not worried about it ever getting abused
Seems watertight, plan on using it at beaches/ wakeboarding as a "safety" case to keep goods in.
Bulky, but its a bomb proof case
Not sure the how water proof it is, want to submerge it and see how it goes....
Picked up the VCT Turbo in 182. I have had a chance to ride in a pretty wide array of snow to get a good feeling for them. The zero chamber is great. It allows for me to cruise the groomers without feeling out of control like with some more extreme rockered skis. These skis will absolutely bomb down the hill, they love to bomb! But the zero chamber also allows for this ski to float amazingly in the freshies.
Cons- its just that since its 104 its not the most nimble ski so moguls and tight stuff can be a challenge, but it does plow through anything which is great. Also since it is zero chamber sometimes it will not track straight, but if your on edge your fine.
Bottom line, this is a great ski for cruising around a resort on groomers, then diving into trees or finding pow stashes.
Wont give it 5 stars yet, havent had the chance to get some serious pow runs in yet. Only got knee deep so far.
Good binding, only releasing when necessary. Construction seems very durable, no plastic parts that feel or look cheap.
The I/OS is a version that is designed for smaller faces, ie women. If your wearing a variant in large I would guess you dont have a small face. So I/O
This hammock is great. i take it backpacking, use it in college to relax, and use it at work when i have a break. Packs down extremely small, made of parachute materials. Drys super quick. It says it can support 300 or 400 lbs (dont have it with me as im writing) so itll take most anything throw at it, or should i say lay on it.
bottom line: great great hammock that i get lots of complements on.
The material is not the very stiff fabric you are thinking off. however it does have a very durable feeling to it.
This ski jacket is a bomb shelter. im 6'2 and 160, its got plenty of space for me so i would say it would be perfect for you in a L. also backcountry would be happy to swap the gear if you have the wrong size.
Water resistant is key, not like a softshell, but for a drizzle its great.
Very stylish, get compliments on it all the time.
Hood fits my head, which being 6'2 is a rarity
Very very comfortable
I don't think its a con, but some people may. it is kind of shiny...
This was a great knife, the third CKRT knife I bought
Small, fits perfectly in pocket to carry around
LAWKS system cant be beat
Got stolen within 2 weeks of owning it.....
Id give it 5 but it didn't get the durability testing...
This jacket works but needs some improving
Collar is enormous, which when the wind gets blowing its very nice.
Great water resistance, and wind proofing
The jacket holds some warmth
Layering potential is limited
Athletic cut, doesn't cover my front waistline, but tapers down in back
Huge collar looks ridiculous if you just wear it out.
It says underarm gussetts, which is basically like a thin fabric, under the arms, pit zips are far superior.
Very very tough fabric, would not want to "cuddle" with it
Itll get the job done, but there better jackets out there. Sent mine back
This shirt is super comfy, looks great, and the bamboo fiber works wonders. I wish I could have kept it but the fit was off, too wide for slim person like me.
I absolutely love these shorts. Great fit and they can either be worn classy or as casual street wear.
This jacket has slight fleece lining on the inside, nothing crazy but its there. I would say a thermal would be good if your doing something mildly active.
I have only ridden them as demo's but heres what i think. i have last years STL's
No swing weight, lighter than last year, slay the park, great flex. although there advertised as a park ski i have taken them on double blacks, and some extreme. and once in a waist deep pow stash i found, they ski awesome
only have one (mildly unjustified) con, last year the topsheet chipped alot. supposidly they have new material.
This bag is absolutely great. Wether I am going to class, skiing, riding my bike, or just doing a quick day hike. This bag will do everything you ask for. At 2200 cu in it may be on the larger side for a ski bag, but its not like you have to pack it full every-time. Just cinch down the straps and its as low profile as most other bags. The diagonal ski carry system is clutch for transporting ur skis from the parking lot, or hiking up.
Every feature I have found on this bag serves its purpose and goes beyond.
I would highly recommend this bag.
This is truly a great ski. I ride east coast with the occasional trip out west. every thing preformed above my expectations. they dominate in the park with virtually no swing weight and i hit rails 24/7 and have had no edge breaks or anything. Have them mounted at factory recommended position and preform great, wouldnt mind have true center tho.
Got a second pair after I wrecked the first set, my fault not 4frnt, mounted center now. SLAY more than ever
