Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm actually a male on the smaller side, so I went with this version of the prolite to save some weight and space, which it does beautifully.
I've always had trouble sleeping while camping but this made a world f difference. Best night I've had in a tent. The pad was comfortable and it was a good size (I'm just shy of 5'9") and I even felt that it left a couple more inches than entirely necessary. Definitely wins my recommendation.
Do note, however, a friend of mine also got this pad (the men's version) and we both found that the first time or two out of the packaging, it really does not like to self-inflate. After you get past those first one or two uses, however, it will inflate just fine. So don't worry if it doesn't go over the first time. It will pick up.

Also, the pattern isn't too bad either.
