Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 190 lbs
Size Purchased: 9.5

I had a little trouble breaking them in, they took about a week of wear, but I've been wearing them almost daily for many months now and I have no complaints. They are probably of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. These are my go to shoes for work and they crossover to the casual side seamlessly. In my experience the shoes run a 1/2 size large. Originally purchased a size 10, but returned them for a 9.5.

This is the 4th or 5th Dakine pack I've purchased and I continue to be impressed with their product.

This version of the Blade is a definitely a step up from the 2009/10 version of the Poacher, which I had to have modified by a tailor to fit my needs. Access via the top of this pack is a bit different than past Dakine packs, but it seems to work well. The separate compartments of this pack are great and the overall size allows me to use the overhead bins on the smaller regional jets many airlines use to service smaller airports. As usual the straps are much longer than needed, but a good sewing machine takes care of that issue real quick.

Great pack overall…can’t wait to see how it holds up in the mountains and on the beach.
