I just picked up the mist/gunmetal color. And to be honest the photo on the BC website is a lot brighter than the actual jacket. the color is a lot more neutral in person and doesn't pop as much. when I purchased the jacket I was under the impression it was going to be a lot whiter but it's much more neutral than I had expected.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I own the Stoic Merino Crew - Short-Sleeve (as a base layer) and the 200 Stoic Merino Quarter zip as a mid lay for snow boarding in the North East. This combination is perfect for me. The short sleeve I also wear while CrossFiting. I can wear it multiple days in a row with out any smell, unlike synthetic clothing. Buy Stoic merino clothing and you wont be disappointing. The shirt I found ran a little small. I've got the med I'm 5' 9" 165 broad shoulder athletic build; its fits like a loose base layer i could size up to large. Overall awesome.

Iv'e used this pack for one season now. It's perfect. Fits everything you need for snow boarding including boots. I wear it while resort riding and side/back country riding. If you wanted, you could carry your board, your boots, your helmet, your buddies skis, a water bladder, extra layers and more. Overall this pack has tons of features and has exceeded my expectations. Buy it. You wont be let down.

I've got the mango medium, (5' 9" 160, athletic build) the fit is dead on. This jacket has been meticulous crafted with super attention to detail. The hood fits excellent with and with out a helmet (I wear a med smith vantage). W/o a helmet the hood hugs the head fantastically. The "Touch Point System?" (the areas where you cinch/loosen the the hood, neck and waist) is an intuitively ingenious feature of the jacket, it works and feels perfect. The overall size of the jacket is great (I've got the med) fully zipped the jack fits right over the face almost up the the tip of the nose for excellent protection form the elements and does not constrict movement. Arm length is spot on for me. Breathability ? Exceptional. I typically wear (snowboarding/skiing) a synthetic power dry base layer with a power stretch mid layer and while charging hard threw trees no clamyness. Waterproofness? It's Gore-Tex Pro shell, tried and true (Iv'e worn various other waterproof/breathable garments including MHW DryQ Elite and the Gore-Tex Pro shell is overall outstanding). Overall this jacket is bomber and wicked versatile, it could be used in various weather conditions; heavy rain, bitter cold gusty whiteouts, bluebird days, ice climbing, you name this jacket will handle any endeavor your willing to take on.

The best socks I've ever used. These socks are great for day to day activities and also perform excellent for long day hikes. They breath and expel moisture exceptionally well which is excellent for high intensity activities. The fit is incredible they literal conform around your foot and will never move or shift around in your footwear. The merino wool naturally does not retain odor.

First of all this filter is solid the construction is extremely durable. When I need reliability and durability the MSR MiniWorks Ex Filter is coming with me. To be honest I use this filter every day to filter my own drinking water (I fill up a large container and fill up my nalgene at least 2-3+ times a day). I also use it extensively on hiking trips (Northeast U.S.) It has not failed me once. It is very important however to remember to use silicone grease every once and a while to keep things running smoothly and to keep the seals tight, I'll do it every other month or so. Also remember to lightly scrub it after extensive use to revive the clean water flow this process takes a minute. The MSR MiniWorks Ex is for anyone looking for a durable and reliable filter that will last through hundreds of uses!
