Goal Zero makes a very cool little pack that holds 4AA batteries, you can use the pack as it is or pull the batteries to use in something else. The pack also has a built in flashlight. I love the battery pack it is very handy because it is so versatile.

I used this last weekend and I have the Guide 10 battery pack as well. I was able to recharge the 4AA for my lantern, iPhone, 4 more AA batteries, and my portable speakers in about 8 hours. I was ready for the party every night with fresh juice for all my gear. It even charges when it is cloudy. (not very fast, but some is better than none) It has 12v, 5v (USB) and a port for the Guide 10 pack that can all be used at once. Very light too.

I finally was able to go to the lake and try this out. This little guy is amazing. Great light output. I left it on the picnic table and it was rained on all night. not one drop on the inside. I love this lantern. The split loop attachment on the top is great. Very high quality. I don't have the NRG batteries but it looks like a great addition.

I am a contractor in Iraq and needed a jacket for the windy cool winter months. It is of very high quality materials and it is unbelievable how warm it is for its thickness. I wore a t-shit under it and stood in 20kt wind at 35F for an hour was comfortable. I have washed it many times and it has not changed sizes one bit, the fuzzy fleece inside is as soft as the day I bought it. It also beads water off like it was made of grease.
The only thing I don't like is the sleeves, the forearm part of the sleeve is tight, very tight. I can't even wear a watch. If I even try I can't get the sleeve back to even look at the time. I know it is for warmth but it makes for a weird looking jacket and an odd fit.
