Exofficio has been making this shirt for years. I love it, it is perfect for fly fishing, hiking or just being near the water in hot weather. It dries fast when it gets wet and sweat just breathes right through the fabric. Its so light weight and durable too. I have never had one of these rip. It travels nicely. Doesn't take up much room, If you need extra spf then the long sleeve dryflylite is just as awesome
I bought these flip flops for a trip to Hawai base on the reviews I read. I haven't worn flip flops in years do to a foot problem. I finally had the surgery and am now ready for flip flops. These are very cute and felt very comfortable with a nice secure fit so my feet didn't move around. I will have to return them because they hurt in between my toes on left foot. Thinking maybe the surgery isn't healed up all the way yet.
I bought this shirt for hiking and working out and fly fishing. So far it has been wonderful at the gym. It feels like silk next to my skin and I don't get all sweaty. It is so lightweight and washs up just great oh I just love it
I love to hike, mostly shorter day hikes,( 8 to 10 miles avg) but I have some balance issues and get really sore knees, that make it hard for me on the decsent. These poles are amazing. They grip really well on rocks and steep trails so really fixed that balance problem. My Husband said I am much faster now. The first time I used them I was so surprised. I loved them on the really steep part of the hike coming down, they made it seem super easy and rocks seemed effortless as I used to sit down and crawl down rocks sometimes . They are very simple to adjust and I can carry them in my pack when I am not using them ( i have a small pack- 22 cu inches so they do stick out a bit but not a problem) For my knee problem I did not notice much of a difference, as most people do. So I guess my knee sorness is a little more of a problem for me..
I purchased two of these a few weeks ago. One for me and one for my husband. Made really well, very sturdy. It is perfect for a day hike, it has lots of room. More than expected. outer pocket for knife, flashligh, sunscreen, keys, etc. Two water bottle holders, although very snug around my camelback bottle. It is hard to get in and out for me. My husband absoluteley loves his, as it fits his slr camera, snacks, even a small lunch. I do not like mine at all. It just doesn't fit right. It doesn't fit the small of my back adjusted all different ways. So any way I have a very short waist, maybe that is the problem, not sure.. My husband highly recommends it, and me............. if it fits,
I have been looking for boots that fit really good and are comfy. I am an 8 1/2 medium width and I wear prescription orthodics. The 8 1/2 (size 40) were snug but comfortable. I took a short 4 mile hike and was very happy on the way up. The descent was perfect with my heel in place. Great ankle support, but could be a bit better. This specific hike is really rocky with lots of streams and mud holes to cross. My feet stayed dry and the soles held firm on the rocks, many of them wet. These boots should fit a narrower foot also. Or at least I would not hesitate to try them. I did have a problem near the end of my hike where the ball of my feet(sides) were getting smashed and sore. I exchanged them for a size 40.5 which translates into an 8 2/3( who ever heard of that?) But this size just had a little more room in the ball of the foot and just a tiny bit more toe room. AWE PERFECT!
I am an avid fly fisherwoman. and hiker. I always grab my Exofficio clothing when doing either. Needless to say these shorts are awesome. They are lightweight, breathable and soooooo quick dry
They are perfect for a day of hot weather wet wading on fly fishing days because I can wade into the water get them wet and they dry out lickity split The fit is perfect. I like the updated styling on the new Exofficio shorts. A welcome change to my older Neo amphi shorts. I just wish they were a bit shorter. The picture I posted shows my fish off more but I am wearing my new shorts. So I guess I can attribute my nice catch to my amazing Neo-Amphi shorts. A side note. These shorts are also great for just wearing any time.
I just purchased my 5th camelback water bottle. These are so perfect for the gym and hiking. They don't leak, and the bite valve is great for staying hydrated because it is always there ready to sip like a straw. You don't have to tilt your head back and get lots of water all over your face.
one drawback-I use rehydrate when I hike. It is grape flavor and if it stays in the bottle too long it begins to flavor the plastic, So if you like to use other liquids other than water make sure to wash the bottle as soon as you get home. Otherwise you will have flavored water next time you put water in it. So I have one bottle that is only for my Rehydrate and one for water. And then the ripple effect. My son wanted one, then my husband. Seems like no one in my family uses any other water bottles now.
Wow, I love to hike but my back gets sore very easy. This pack is amazing. I went on a short four mile hike today and I hardly even knew I had a back pack on. No sore back at all.It felt like it was a part of me once I put it on and adjusted it to fit me. Stayed in place while I hiked and was very comfortable. Lots of functional pockets. Perfect for a day hike. Holds rain gear, lunch, at least two water bottles,(or you can use the hydration system) and all the other stuff you think you might need for your hike. First impression when I took it out of the box- super durable looking
Love this pack. I bought it for day hikes and it is just perfect. It is just the right size for a day hike. Fits my lunch, rain gear, camara, dog treats, leashes, etc. It is built like any Mountain Hardwear product is- high quality, sturdy, looks nice has lots of room, and is comfortable. And last, but not least, it is RED. my favorite color.
I wore these the first time a couple of weeks ago right when Stevens Pass opened up/ I used them under my Marker Gore-tex ski pants. Perfect weight and warmth for the 23 degree day. Also a great fit. I am only giving them four stars because I have only worn them once. They seem to do the job I bought them for though. Would Recommend.
I love this jacket. The softshell gore-tex is amazing. The fit is very flattering and is true to size. If you buy the blue, the color is a little more turquoise than in the photo. At this point I can not tell you any more as I had to return the jacket because it is supposed to be a Christmas present... will review more later, when I get it?!!? but I hope this helps a little, I have owned a lot of Cloudveil and love it all.
Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!! This is the best mid layer I have ever owned. High quality, super warm and Very comfortable with a great fit!! Love the zipper. Just pair it with a light base layer and a Cloudveil Razor jacket(from Backcountry.com of course) you will stay toasty warm. Because of the superior breathablity of both pieces, sweating is never a problem. I skied today in 13 degrees and was perfectly comfortable. Plus with Cloudveil's lifetime warranty how could you ever go wrong?!!!!!.
I bought these yellow lenses to go with my oakley fishing sunglasses. Although they are not polarized like my fishing lenses are they are perfect at dusk when you cant see your fly on the water anymore. Helps for the hike back to your car also. Really brightens up the sky at dusk. It is so nice to be able to just change lenses so you only have to carry one pair of sunglasses. Gotta love that!!
check the oakley website. lots of info on the sunglasses there.
I love this Jacket. Very deceiving for its light weight. It is great for winter flyfishing as it is very warm with one mid weight layer or 2 lighter weight layers. Fits perfectly under my waders. Very comfortable with one mid weight layer 35 degrees and not too hot at 50 degrees. Perfect all weather ski jacket. Love the high neck to keep the wind out. Water beads up and rolls right off. Keeps the wind out and has great range of motion. I highly recommend the Rayzar jacket to anyone who loves winter sports!!
