Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 270 lbs
Size Purchased: 2XL

I have worn this jacket for over a year and it's fantastic for dry or slightly damp weather in the 40's on up. It will wet through in heavy rain, snow or have a hardshell ready. This is my #1 go to jacket for being comfortable on a chilly morning, it's so soft and light that it's easy to tuck away in a pack or even just under your belt when it gets too warm. Only complaint is that I wish it had even the most basic hand pockets.

Great jacket, I bought the 2XL and it leaves plenty of room to wear a fleece or puffy vest underneath, size comparable to other softshells. Really nothing wrong with this jacket that I can pinpoint, it's just not as great as my previous softshell (out of production model from another manufacturer), not as warm, not as windproof, not as soft, but in fairness it was a $300 MSRP model not a $200 MSRP model. Primary complaint would be that the pockets extend back behind the hand holes and behind your centerline, so I occasionally 'lose' my keys or other small items because they are in a difficult to reach place. Also I don't like the plastic wrist velcro compared to soft velcro straps covered with the softshell material. Media pocket feedthrough and headset retention loop are nice features as well as the in-pocket waist cinch.

I'm not a sleeping bag expert, before this bag I have never owned an expensive bag. The bag packs very small and light about 8"x10" when fully compressed and the listed weight is right on. The lining is silky to the touch. My only problem is that the bag is a bit narrow for me, but I am a overweight (5'9" / 240lbs) and I toss and turn in my sleep. If it has 3 more inches in circumference in the shoulders it would be perfect.

The bag is a bit warm if the outside temperature is higher than 40 degrees, with no way to vent the foot there is not much you can do about it other than taking your arms out. The warmth is just about right for the 10-40 degree range with a lightweight base layer. The cost of the decreased weight is versatility.
