I use these boots about 50-75 times a year in the woods. I have NEVER once had a problem with any water or even moisture in them. The true test was salmon fishing... combination of these boots and some high gators were the ultimate pair shore fishing waterproof boots. They kept my feet totally dry, even when nearly submerged (do not submerge them though lol) It was even pouring rain that day and still not even any dampness. Love the eVent, really breathable. I can wear these in the summer time and not even notice. The stepping technology in the toe is remarkable and makes walking a breeze; I feel like I'm barely lifting my feet to step forward! Great product, will definitely buy Kaylands again. I wish i would have bought two pairs of these for when the first ones finally wear out. Vibram soles still going strong... I also felt they fit true to size.

I am still in love with these from day one. I use them for at least 5 or more hours a week of walking all types of ground. They have been 100% waterproof for me and i've had a couple should have been soakers with these on, and not a drop made it through. They walk so smoothly, and make miles seem easier. I'm constantly being asked to slow down haha. If you didnt get your hands on them, you should be sorry cause i wish i'd have bought a 2nd pair IF these wear out in a few years :)

but not bulletproof... i carried this full of water by hand the first time i used it and found a very very small leak forming on the bag when i hung it at basecamp. I must have cause it on a brier or something I don't know. That being said... the very slow drip stopped running and just forms a small bead of water on the surface of the bag that does not leak... so I can't be that upset being that it still performs well, however on the first trip and i made sure i kept my eye on it, it still got a microscopic puncture so i can't give it 5 stars. also, I love that my MSR Miniworks EX screws to it for contaminate free filtering and now i dont have to carry water in the bag anywhere when i dont need to! i can just get it after i find water from base camp.

This is a serious thermos... i coffee in this, sipping on it frequently, was finally losing its temp 7hrs into my hike. Unreal!! If you filled it with hot beverage, and left it closed completely full, i bet it would stay quite Hot for 7 hours or more no problem... seriously no joke. Build is awesome, the only thing i dont like is the location of the clip loop, I like the Klean Kanteen loop top style much better, but small sacrifice for an indisputable working product.
