Even if your not going to perform the task, they are probably cheaper than at the shop. Don't find out the hardway and have you shock serviced. Clearly it all depends on how much you ride and how often you will need to do this. The kashima coating will get worn away easily below the seal after time if you don't change these seals.

Taper in the tip and all black bases are the biggest changes form last year. I find the taper helps float the ski quicker and allows for easier steering in soft snow. Not to much die cut, just logos so the skis will be faster than most. Seeing that many people spray painted their set ups, all black top sheets with some minimal graphics. Still a daily driver, not alot of tail rocker so the hardpack is as effortless as riding them in powder. Tip and tail holes work with k2 skins and Rescue Shovel Plus, with parts in the handle of the shovel you can build a rescue sled along with some cording.

Easy to adjust roc loc head fit, while riding even. Good airflow and fit, if you have the head shape. Visor adjusts up and down a bit. I like the light colors since its hot out there, why heat up your head!

Have been a fan of these saddles for quite some time, the shape works well for me. Specifically a cross country rider, I have it on a seat dropper post. I find this is a great climbing saddle. Not the softest feel.

Fit: True to size

Light weight breathable. Inner bike short has decent padding and also very breathable. Pockets are small at entry, only complaint. Some may feel there is a lack of pockets on this one. Length is just above the knee. Fit is nice, Lycra venting where you need it as well.

Thats the downside of being solid is that its heavy. Most people carry light shovel set ups. What would you want someone to have in their packs? In the handle there is a sled building kit, so if you have k2 or any other ski you can use the handles and blade to build a sled, to make it solid you will need 5m of cord. The hoe option is nice to move snow fast.

The tapper is new for this ski. Taper helps with tip float and steering in powder. On hard pack its a bit of a different feeling initially. The metal helps with dampness. Tip and tail holes for pre cut skins or to built a rescue sled with K2 shovel shaft and wing nut bolts included in shovel shaft. Straight tail and geared towards back country. Has tip rocker which doesn't take away from hard pack performance.
