Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
First of all I should say that I live in KY and my intended use for the bibs is hiking/backpacking, so this review may not be useful for some. I just received the bibs so this is obviously not a testament to the durability as well. However I can speak to the fit and my overall first impressions. I am 6'1" and 210. I ordered a size large in the green. They were slightly snug. I felt like I could have gone to an XL, but the 4 way stretch is really comfortable and easy to wear. I should say if you are wearing a base layer keep in mind they are slim fit bibs. Definitely not baggy like most ski pants/bibs. That's personally what I liked about them. The only thing I miss is pockets in the front, and I wish they had belt loops. That's they only reason for 4 stars. If I lived in Colorado and was on the mountain every week that might not be an issue. If your intended use is skiing, I would think they would be for warmer weather because they're not insulated and the material is not as thick as what you would normally get with ski bibs. But way more comfortable. Given the quality of the bibs, I thought they were a relatively good value compared to other bibs that range from $500-$600. BD is new to this kind of apparel, so I think they started out very good.
