Familiarity: I've used it several times

I think this vest missed the mark for the alpine climbing vest it is market as. The zippers are heavy and there's too many pockets to really be minimalist. By dropping all but the internal pockets (for skins, camera etc.) BD could lower the weight down without compromising warmth. I also feel like it runs a little large for layering (it doesn't fit well under the BD Dawn Patrol LT). Despite this however it does it's job, packs well and has held up to a fair amount of abuse while ice climbing.

G1 at Night

I've been pretty happy with this camera. I keep it clipped to my harness while climbing, it's easy to take 1 handed shots with while climbing or belaying, and the macro and night shots are pretty decent for being a point and shoot camera. In ~100 pitches I've yet to have any durability issues beyond minor scratching although every time I climb a squeeze chimney I expect to scratch the lens. Only major complaint is the battery life sucks in the winter, even at 30 degrees.

I love my stoic overhangs, there the most comfortable pair of pants I own, for everything from general chilling to trad climbing to being thrown in lakes. The new colors are disappointing though, I wish stoic would move away from the black/tan/brown trend and back to the killer colors of the past (I'm looking at you shale/graze and denim).
