I spend most of my time in the Adirondacks, but try to squeeze in time wherever I happen to be traveling for business as well.
Very comfortable in the saddle - chamois is cut just right. Fabric breathes well, so doesn't stay wet, even in this crazy hot summer...like them so much was actually just about to order another pair so I don't have to wash them every day. Legs don't slip up either -
I am a normal size 11 1/2 to 12, depending on the shoe. Bought these in XL, and they are simply too small...my toes hit the front of the bootie. Thank goodness I bought these on Steep and Cheap and didn't spend much...
I see people asking about Ranier and these boots, but would they be suitable for Kilimanjaro as well?
This is one of those things I always carry in my pack - sometimes I need it, and most times I don't, but with the weight vs. usefulness, it's always worth having.
Used mine for the first time this past weekend...was lucky enough to have caught it on SteepandCheap...it's a great set, my MSR Pocket Rocket fits inside with no problem, and the storage bag is nice to have. I really wish I had snagged a couple of them on SAC...
