LOVE this shirt!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've worn this shirt during two half-marathons. The weather during both of my races was NOT ideal race weather -- windy, raining, and temperatures in the upper forties (Fahrenheit). This shirt was the perfect shirt for race day! The zip pocket on the chest is nice for small items; however, this new version doesn't have the little pocket on the back of the shirt like the older version did; this isn't a deal-breaker for me but might be for others. The thumb-holes help keep your wrists warm. The 1/4 zip is perfect -- you can zip it up all the way to keep your neck warm, or you can unzip it all the way if you start to get a little too warm. The fabric recovers well from the little, safety-pin holes. Overall it has worn quite well. I can't say enough good things about this shirt.

I was very excited to see that The North Face still makes this shirt, and I'm about to purchase another.

I'm 5'7" and weight 125 lbs, and the small fits great.

I purchased this backpack/dry-bag for trip that I took to Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. Many of the Vieques travel websites discourage people from leaving valuables in their Jeeps while at the beach; they also discourage folks from leaving valuables on the shore while they're in the water ("petty theft" is common in Vieques). I go everywhere with my DSLR camera and wanted to be able to bring it to the beaches in Vieques, so I thought that this bag would be a good option. I wore it on my back while I was snorkeling and swimming at the beaches. The backpack was splashed but was never submersed; there was a little water (not enough to damage my camera) in the bag every time I used it. If I use it again I'm going to purchase a conventional dry-bag to put inside of this backpack. I'm also considering trying the SealLine Urban Backpack, but it got mediocre reviews and is more expensive than the Dakine pack, so I'm not so sure about that option.

Still not sure...
3 5

I've owned this compression wrap for over a year now, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Reviews on other sites make this product sound like a miracle worker, but my experience has been quite different. I've suffered with illiotibial band syndrome (ITBS) for over 14 months. I've tried everything, but I've not tried everything (all together) diligently.

For me, this product shifts the pain from the outside of my knee to my leg. The wrap seems to shift the pain to the location on my leg where the wrap is.

I suppose this product could help, but my ITBS pain is so inconsistent and unpredictable that it's hard to say whether or not it's this product that is helping or I've just lucked out and had a good day.

I'd recommend stopping running for 2 - 4 weeks. I'm currently working on a regimen of stretching (lots of stretching), foam rolling (lots of foam rolling), using a "Quadballer," strength training exercises, and icing my leg after my runs. I'm not sure if it's one of those things or a combination, but I seem to be making progress.

Bottomline -- it's worth a shot, but don't expect this product to work miracles for you.

Looking back on it, I can't believe that I paid $90 for this! I'm 5'7" and weight 125 lbs, and, like most North Face stuff, it's a little bit short. Also, the only pocket is the chest pocket. I don't understand why people put chest pockets on womens clothing...they're more or less useless! I really wish that this jacket had hand pockets. It does, however, keep you warm in cool weather; I've worn it on 40 F weather with a long sleeve shirt underneath.

These aren't really fancy ski pants, but they get the job done and aren't terribly expensive. I think that they run a little small. Per the size chart, I should have ordered a small, but I wish I had ordered a medium. The bright pink color is cute. The pants come up high in the back which is good for keeping the snow out.

The colors are as pictured. Shorts are stretchy, but not too stretchy. The fabric is nice and soft. The shorts are a bit lower rise than I thought they'd be, but that's okay. I'm 5'7" and weigh 125 lbs, and the medium fits me well...not too tight and not too loose. They go great with the flowers in the Roxy Floral Rhapsody bright coral swimsuit!

These pants are really cute...especially for being an athletic-style pant. The grey color is photographed appropriately. I am 5'7" and weigh 125 lbs (I typically wear a 27" - 28" waist size in pants). I ordered a small, and they fit really well. The waistband has elastic in the back (don't worry...it's tastefully done and doesn't look nerdy), so that's something to keep in mind if you're not sure what size to get.

I was concerned about them being on the short side, but the length is perfect.

These are really comfortable. I haven't tested them out yet, but I'll come back and review them again once I've had a chance to do some hiking and running in them. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box because the blue isn't quite as vibrant as the blue in the picture. The shoes are more of a "sky blue" color.
