Sizing help? According to the Scarpa sizing chart, my size ought to be 44.5. Does anyone with experience in this boot know if these sizes are accurate?

My foot is a 10.5D according to the Brannock Device; I wear an 11 in Salomon XT Wings, 11 in Vasque, and typically an 11 in most dress shoes/casual wear/outdoor shoes.

I have bunions on both feet, making my feet significantly wider at the toes than the heels. I tried the La Sportiva Nepal Evo GTX in 44 and it was just a bit too narrow on my left foot, and just a bit too short on my right foot (with SmartWool Mountaineering socks on, and the included liner).

Any thoughts!? Thanks in advance!

I'm 6'1", 175lb, so I ordered a L of this item. The size is as expected; perhaps the length could have been a bit longer, but it fits in the shoulders, chest, and stomach. Fits quite well in the Arc'teryx/viking style.

My issues are with the sleeve length: the sleeves are long, since they have partial hand covers (notice the thumb hole in the picture above). However, even with my arms completely outstretched, there is still some slack in the sleeves.

Also, the collar is ridiculously large. Not recommended for casual use, since the collar simply will not sit right when it is folded over like a normal collar.

The jacket is extremely light, but feels very warm. Unfortunately, I haven't had it long enough to test in especially cold weather.

The Salomon XT Wings are quite literally the best product I've ever purchased. In the short time I've owned them, they've saved my rocky marriage, gotten me a big promotion at work, and also impregnated my wife--feats I've been struggling to accomplish for years.

Not having owned many pairs of trail running shoes, I have no meaningful comparisons to make. However, as an avid owner of shoes in general, I can say that---for my feet---the fit of the XT wings was unprecedented. Given the abuse these things (and my feet along with them) go through slogging up and crashing down trails, I am pleased to report that my feet receive more love from the XT wings than I've ever hoped to receive from my own parents.
