The pant is lined. I bought it for skiing. I debate between this pant and the Meru bib. I tried the Meru in a store. It is better fit than this mountain pant.
I did check with the sales about the performance fit and the alpine fit of the 2 pants. The BC staff told me the performance fit is slimmer. That's not true. This pant is looser than Meru bib. Make sure you try them before you buy.
I am 5'6 and 135lb. I bought S. The length is OK. Just looser than I expected. And the the BC staff was not very knowledgeable about the products.
The quality feels good but not more than that. It is not as good as a 3-layer pro-shell. You can easily feel the big difference.

This jacket is absolutely not a slim fit. I have another Gore Jacket which is comfort fit same size. It is a lot slimmer than this jacket. This is more than acceptable relax fit for biking or running.
The outer shell material feels very cheap. You can feel the same cheap quality on any $20 sports jacket.
I am not sure whether the shell material will be able to hold the water for the gore-tex to be able to breathe.
Disappointed on Gore's quality control. I have another jacket which is very good quality and another pants which is good too.
I am 5-6 130lb. I ordered size S.

Bought the last year version. Very good quality. On par with ArcTeryx.
Top Waterproofness. The windproofness is not as good as a gore bike wear with windstopper. When I wear them together in a very windy day, I can feel the back side of this jacket (which is made of softer material than the front side) allows some wind to break in. The front side is made of tougher material, which does not allow any wind to cripple in. At the same time, my gore bike ware ALP-X 2.0 pant does not allow any wind to break in from any where.
The fit is not bad but lots of room at waist area.
I am 5-6 135lb. I bought be XS.
No gaiter is disappointing.

Nice built pant. Fully windproof. When in the strong wind, it is better than my Pata Super Alpine jacket which is made of Gore-Tex Pro-shell.
I use it for running instead of biking. I don't bike. In early morning running, it works very well in the late winter and spring. I use it also in the late spring and early summer with the vents and pockets fully open. Great for people who has coldness-sensitive knees.
I am 5-6, 135lb. Bought S.
C O N S :
It is so easy to be hooked by some not-so-sharp hardware. I got one hole in 1st weeks. I am not abusing it. I don't even know when did it get the hole. I dont have anything hard with me when I use it.
