Fit: True to size

found this on sac and needed a lightweight climbing jacket and this did the job used it on a dozen or so on climbs. when climbing it is just about the perfect tempature seams like pit zips might help ventulation but i did not perspire to terrribly bad. it also was a great wind breaker, if you needed to belay i might bring a heavier down parka to keep warm but over all i really like the jacket

Used this pack maybe half dozen times on little day hikes and took it up mount hood once pack was great for the climb crampon holders were phenomenal at first I was worried about them falling out yet even with glasading down they didnt budge ice axe loops worked great. Most the time when climbing on the outside always moving around with out any good way to attach it but this pack did a excellent of securing items to it The down side with it is the chest strap, it is only attached with friction with a metal clip to the shourlder strap so at 3 am went to buckle my pack and bam it was gone had just fallen of(later found it at my house). Will use some athletic tape to keep it in place from now on but design is crap at best. Over all great pack, I would suggest it to a buddy but be very carful with the chest strap

Dude sweet jacket I have used it for climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, and around town. jacket construction is good few things i would change is under arm ventilation and a lighter weight of core-loft in the arms. During hi exertion sports such as snowshoeing my torso was at a temperature that was warm but limited the amount that I perspired while my arms were very sweaty At the top of the mtn (8 mile round trip with 3000 feet elevation gain) put on a lightweight fleece under the atom jacket(helping wick the sweat away) and watched my wife build a snow cave I was impressed with how fast the jacket dried from my sweat and did a awesome job at stopping the wind(gust of 15-20mph) with being sweaty and sitting down in snow for a hour I was impressed with not getting cold. jacket is very water resistant does a good job yet I would not trust it if i had to stay out more then a day in wet conditions. Also its temperature range is good you can us it to exercise with and not get to hot yet sitting down do nothing it does a good job of keeping you warm. All in all I like the jacket and would suggest it to a friend
