Absolutely SICK every day charger
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

In a 193 this is the best every day charger I've ever had. It's like a 185 Cochise with more rockered tips added to the tip so they'll crush super deep pow, and rockered tails to make them beuutery and easy to pivot around that girth in the tight and techy. I sually won't run anything over 190 inbounds at Crested Butte, but these are just so easy for a 193. No more difficult to push than the 185 Cochise (which you'll see that i love in my review of it), plus the stability and drifitiness of the 186 Bodacious, but more forgiving. Also DURABLE. I've been hitting rocks like you would if you get into the shit in CB and they've held up wonderfully.

I also have the 186 s a playful jib ski and it's a great option for smaller skiers.

Crazy-Fast, Stupid-Easy
5 5

For me the best feeling I get from skiing is when I am charging hard, exploding bumps, and feeling no hesitation as I roll into airs and dice up the techgnar. The Cochise is the best tool I have found to enable me to do this. I have never been on a ski that is so stable at speed while being so maneuverable and just plain easy, intuitive and fun! Lay 'em over and they carve with surgical accuracy. Lay off the edge a hair and they break into the most predictable speed-controlling drift. It's like having a steering wheel, clutch and brakes - full control enables you to go faster because you know you can steer, slow down, and stop on command. Flipcore is a game-changer in the everyday usability of rockered skis, providing all the benefits of rocker - ease, float, and forgiveness without sacrificing the stability and balls of a big-mountain brawler.

These pants will not die
5 5

I have a pair of these pants with over 300 days in them, and I still wear them. I have crashed onto rocks at CB, logged countless sled days, took them to Haines, and even painted a house wearing these. These are an evolution of the pants that put Flylow on the map, and they flat out will not die. If you are abusive on gear and want something that will hold up and even stay looking good, look no further.

Best Jacket I Own
5 5

This is the single best jacket I have ever owned. The insulation is just right, so on most winter days you can wear it over a base layer and spine protector and be plenty warm, and on a bootpack or traverse you can unzip and cool off super quick. On those balls-cold days, throw this over a micropuffy and you will not get cold. Great fit, excellent hood and bombproof!
