Familiarity: I've used it several times

Couldn't wait to get this thing since we have a Glacier to Waterton trip planned for Labor (or Labour for the Canadians out there) day weekend. Right out of the box it's light. Took about 5 minutes to put up without any real instruction and the kids insisted we sleep in it the first night. Decent head room but snug for two large adults. I slept in it with my 8 and 3 year old the first night with only a little bit of discomfort. Rained the first night we had it up and no moisture leaks etc without using the footprint. So easy to put up and a great light option for 2 people.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

The pants look great and feel good. You tell the craftsmanship is quality. I ordered the 32X32 and the short length come right to the top of my knee. (I'm 5'8" 155lbs) I usually wear 32" waist in all my pants and 31" in board shorts. These fit snug and would be perfect if they had a little more stretch to them. That is really the only draw back in my mind... they would be perfect with a little more stretch!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought a pair of these because I found a deal and I have friends that rave about Salomon. Decided to give them a try and was really worried that I made an achy breaky big mistakey! Arch pain in them all day worn casual and I thought I was going to return them. Decided to give them a couple days and they are one of my favorite shoes now. Not sure what issue was worked out, but there was a really hot spot in my arch. Now one of my go to shoes.

Several Months later I now own 3 pairs and love them. I did size up on the last pair 1/2 a size and have enjoyed a little more room. I love that my feet feel good in them ALL day. No aches or pains even when I have been on them for 8+ hours in the day. The support is amazing!

Great Jacket! Looking for a Gore Tex shell that I liked wearing around town in addition to braving the elements! Love the offset zipper and second zipper for increased hood functionality! Powder skirt has a couple snaps built in right by the front zipper so you can snap it up and out of the way. Love the construction of the jacket because it is soft and supple not stiff and noisy like my Burton AK Jacket. The only draw back is the Zipper tabs are a little small and come off easier than they should. I've lost two already. Other than that this is my favorite piece of technical wear to date!
