This is an amazing bag, its very compressible (to about the size of a soccerball) and I experienced no problems with the provided compression sack. And the provided storage sack makes a great pillow when filled with a jacket and other misc. cloths. The only thing that I'd say is a bad is it isn't quite a 20 degree bag, at about 30 I had to throw on base layers. But the good definitely out-weights the bad as winter camping isn't my gig.

This is a great compression sack, very durable, and does the job well. The pocket on the end seems a little odd since when its compressed you cant put much in there. the large is a little too big though I feel. Medium would be good for fitting it in a pack... otherwise this easily held a 2 man tent a down sleeping back and a few changes of cloths.

Great reservoir, only problem could be a slight plastic taste for the first few fills but that's expected. The quick disconnect hose from reservoir is great; the Katadyn microfilter uses the same connector so you can just snap it in and fill from there, great feature

This is the first daypack I've personally owned and in my opinion a great lightweight pack. I will acknowledge that the brain and pocket in it is a weird in that it's attached so if you fill it too much it will be a pain to get the brain over. Otherwise its a very comfortable pack to wear and does hold quite a bit. I've done over nighters with it and many hikes to crags with it full of rope, gear, water and food. Lots of spots to tie to on the outside and the stretchy outer pocket is a good accessible place for the guide book. The recycled nature is a nice touch too.
