Love these skis!!
While I wouldn't recommend moguls on these, they excel in EVERYTHING else.
They were surprisingly well on groomers and I was able to carve without the normal issues associated with rockered, reverse-sidecut skis.
But as soon as you hit the powder, you realize what these skis are made for.
They float perfectly and turn effortlessly!!
All tele ... except the NTN bindings.
I've tried a few saddles, mostly WTB ones (Pro Comp, Silverado, etc), but this is by far the most comfortable for me.
I guess it's personal preference and everyone is different.
So, I'd try out a few from LBS or friends.
You "derriere" won't be disappointed.
Good grip and pretty comfortable.
They don't make your hands too hot, but are warm enough during cold morning rides.
No complaints at all.
Carry this multi-tool on your rides and you'll probably never need anything else.
It's got everything.
I love Crank Brother's products and quality.
For this price, I doubt you'll ever find a better hydraulic disc brake.
The are easy to adjust, feel great and light.
Stopping power is better than most mechanical versions I've tried.
You can even adjust the reach on the fly while riding.
Bottom line: A high-end brake for a low-end price!!
The Heckler is a perfect All Mountain bike.
Not too heavy for cross-country trails and just beefy enough to handle the downhills.
All the components are good quality too, but if you want better, then go for the X-9 build.
Front shock can be locked-out, rear one can't.
The only minor problem I had was that the shifting cables did stretch, so I did need them re-adjusted after a few weeks. The shifter does have an adjuster which makes it pretty easy.
Quick note: Pedals are not included on the bike, so make sure you have your own.
Overall: Great bike and well worth the money.
Crank Brothers make really good bike gear and their clothing is no exception.
Can't fault the quality, although more colors would be nice!
Just used this tent last weekend and have no complaints at all.
It rained most of the time, but didn't leak.
I would recommend the footprint to protect your investment and have an extra water-proof layer at the bottom.
The vestibule is fairly large and because of the 2 doors, can be in the front or back of your tent.
Even putting it up in the dark (without ever seeing a picture or manual) wasn't too bad.
There are 3 different types of poles which caused minor confusion if you've used the tent before, but it only took 2 minutes to figure out where they go.
Overall: Great tent
Good quality is something you expect from a top company like Patagonia and this shirt is no exception.
Been a few weeks now and I have no complaints.
I really love there sandals, but was a bit disappointed with these.
The foot bed is quite hard and not as comfortable as other shoes like Patagonia and Keen.
Overall, the quality is very good.
Just a pity about the feel.
These boots are comfortable from day 1.
Sizing is also perfect.
Lots of tread so they aren't going to wear out anytime soon.
Although, my toes did get cold will standing out in the snow, but I guess that will happen with any boot.
Overall... great purchase.
While I really liked the fit, shape and style, the let down was the strap.
It was just too short to wear with a helmet.Felt like my face was being squashed. If you don't use a helmet, these are great for small to medium sized faces. Otherwise, go for the A Frame instead. They are only slightly bigger, but have more color and lens options in the range.
My new favorite jacket.
Seriously well made, warm & waterproof.
I'm 5'7 (145 pounds) and went for the medium.
This jackets has a great athletic fit.
The sleeves are slightly longer so you don't have them ride up to your elbows when you stretch.
Got this from Scott's website:"With our Progressive (Pro) tip, Scott controls tip deflection on our skis by using a progressive tip height radius. The Mission and Pure are driven by perfect flex and predictable tip behavior during turns thanks to Pro Tip technology."
I'm getting mine in a few days time and going to mount them on the line.I normally mount my bindings a few cm's behind the line, but the rockered tip will help to stop that tele-tumble.
I probably have similar sized hands to you, so I tried the 7.They did fit, but were a bit too tight for my liking. So I guess the volume of you hand matters too.My suggestion is try the 7.If you're not happy, send them back and wait for an 8 to come into stock.
You really can't go wrong with these.
They are probably THE quintessential pair of goggles you will every own.
Timeless classics (just now in 101 different color combinations!!)
Great glove with all the best features rolled in.
Idiot-proof wrist-bands so you don't drop them off the chair lift.
Gauntlet sized for deep powder days in the back country.
Tough material that keeps out all weather types so your hands stay warm and dry.
Buy them, you won't be disappointed.
