Was - Angeles
Love this thing - I'm picky about helmets and seem to have a hard time fitting them correctly. The leaf is super adjustable, light and ventilated. The quick adjustment dial in the back works super well & I can only assume (as evidenced by the lack of wasps in my helmet) that the bug screens are doing their job. I tried both the Poc Trabec and the Six Six One Recon during my purchase & this one seems light year better.
I have a pretty big head & always wear a large... the large in this helmet is perfect.
I have several of these and they are awesome. I agree with all the other feedback on the subject of the lid. Stays closed when open, Short burst of water, etc. My only complaints are:
1. Randomly makes a strange air escaping noise as pressure changes in the bottle
2. My wife steals them so I can never find one to use.
Will buy again
I returned these as they:
a. did not fit me very well around the knees
b. did not fit well around waist - too big
c. was not wild about the fabric - seemed too heavy for summer use.
I'm 5-10" 170 34" waist.
I've had had several Tikkas over the years & it is y go to headlight for generic low light needs. I wouldn't use the light as a primary for night riding/caving/etc but it is great to have in the car/campsite/house.
I will not hesitate to replace mine when I need another.
I run them tubeless & they seem to last well as long as they don't cut/tear. One of my first ride on them I hit a loose sharp rock & ripped a knobby off, needless to say the Stan's didn't patch that hole. Other than the one incident, these are super solid tires.
I had an early season incident with my tubeless & have been running these in my procrastination to get them fixed. The tubes work fine but the stem is a bit short for my Enve wheels... 42mm+ stem works better - not a fault of the product.
I love shot blocks, they seem to be perfect for energy boosts on shorter distance/duration rides - caffeine is an added bonus. The package makes it easy to consume all or none & save for later rides.
I bought this short and the http://www.backcountry.com/fox-racing-evolution-ride-liner-short-mens liners in the same order. While they are both great products, I like this one a bit better as they seem lighter/cooler.
I'm 5-10" 170 34 waist & the large fits perfectly.
I have several different liner shorts and I believe these are my second favorite...
The Pearl Izumi seems a bit cooler. http://www.backcountry.com/pearl-izumi-elite-versa-liner-short-mens . I would not hesitate to buy these, they are a just a bit heavier fabric than the PI shorts.
I'm 5-10" 170 34 waist & the large fits perfectly.
I ended up buying 3 pair of these since I loved them so much. I wear them for Biking/Hiking/Working/Life.
The fabric is super light and remains pretty cool while riding. I've done several 5+ hours trail rides in them and I have to say I they are more comfortable than tights or bibs. For kicking around town they are the most comfortable short I have ever owned.
I'm 5'10 170 - 33-34" waist and the large fits perfect. These shorts are *not* lined.
I don't wear shoes very often but when I do I only wear Merrell's - they are the most interesting shoes in the world!
I vary between 10 and 10.5 got these in a 10 and they fit perfect so I would say they run pretty true to size. I do not run so wear them as my hike/kick around town shoes. Would definitely buy them again.
This thing is great but highly specialized. I have used pliers for years to man handle glowing DO lids, not more burns. There are more high tech versions of this tool out there but the simplicity of this makes it perfect for the job.
There are not many options for fork mount racks and thru axles, this one works well. Agree with mkshort707's comment the someone needs to come up with a locking solution, but the product will extend the investment into my Yakima setup for many years.
4 stars for not having a locking option, otherwise it is a greta product.
Stan's is the bomb and the only option tubeless setups. As others have indicated the product need maintenance put a bit in your wheels every couple months and you should be golden.
I'm 5-10 165 and 30" inseam. The medium was about 4 inches too long.
I like the fabric but they just didn't work out for me
I have a pile of these shirts - I love the Dri Release fabric. I am 5-10 165 and the Large fits me perfect.
What could possibly go wrong?
Voile straps are the best. I have used them for years and always replace them when they get lost (they don't wear out.)
I use them to Snug my seat bag on my mtn bike, strap my poles to my skis, tie paddles on my rack...
When you discover them you'll wish you had years before!
I bought the Blue for my son & he loves it (it is bright as the other reviewer pointed out.) The fit is perfect for my 6 average sized (almost 7) yr old.
Got the jacket for an international trip to pair with a rain jacket and it was an ideal combo. The fabric has a good DWR coating that kept him dry in a paris down pour though it is not a rain jacket...
Bought this to replace a thread bare super slim wallet. Leather is not the best but in this case function beats form.
Bought these for my 6yr old (twice now) and he loves them. They seem as durable as any other skate shoes and are definitely cool.
The size is very true, he is a size 1 & the 1 fits perfectly.
