Familiarity: I've used it several times

After viewing a few videos about the difference between soft foam vs hard foam helmets, I decided my days in a Hard Hat snowboarding were over. The science is out that EPS is much safer. Previously I've been rocking a Macon Hard Hat for the last 7 years. I always wore XL in that helmet. Switching to the EPS, with adjustable band, I would say the following. Yes, the Hard Hat is slightly more comfortable, but I found the sizes comparable. I don't think this fit "small" in comparison to what I was expecting. I'd say it was more true to size. The way the EPS feels it almost seems slightly higher on my head, but I think that is due to the lighter weight construction. The top of my goggle still aligns well with the bottom of the helmet. My favorite new feature is the adjustable band. You really get an exact fit.

I'm glad I made the switch. I use this helmet for snowboarding and biking. When boarding, I wear a balaclava under it.

I bought these are a gift for my friend. This is what he said-

"I am very stoked on these shoes. They may not slip on very easily but once you're in get ready for great performance. I have been climbing hard in them for about a month and the have retained there stiffness and downturn nicely. I really like the large amount of rubber over the top for toe hook assists. I'm a 9.5 street shoe but can't fit in anything less than an 11 comfortably. This has been my experience with all Five Ten shoes. Also smurf feet are kind of fun.:

I recently decided to upgrade some underwear from pairs I've had too long to something more modern. As a huge fan of Stance socks, I gave these a try. Fit is on point and comparable to Saxx. The "wholester" is a little bit tighter than mypakage. I wear size 32 denim and the M fit great.

In the past I've tried out MyPakage as well as Saxx. I think Stance brings in a powerful competitor with their new line. The Wholester specifically is a great pair for anyone who doesn't use their fly and wants the best fit possible. I've posted a picture of the size chart below.

As other reviewers stated, I had to do a double take when browsing for some new boots. Teva beings back memories of dad and his sandals that were far "superior" to my mere flip flops. Fast forward and now Teva makes stylish footwear. I've been wearing these about 3 weeks straight, through ice, snow, rain and general winter weather. They've broken in to a super comfy fit and they still look great.

Sizing wise, I agree with Vinny that they fit a little big. I am normally a 9.5 in everything and while I did end up keeping the 9.5s in these. I easily could have sized down to a 9. Morale of the story, if you like a true snug fit and wear thin socks, size .5 down. If you're looking for a slightly loose boot fit, go your normal size.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After seeing Niche grow over the past few seasons, I've always admired them for their environmental initiatives, unique tech, and inspiring graphics. Coming into this season the Aether was on my radar and now it's under my feet.

A few highlights on how this board rides

1) This thing can lay down a mean carve. With it's unique form of magnatraction, the edges grip hard when railed. This combined with the snappy core and I'm smiling. It's nice to be on a board that actually can ride.

2) I like the medium flex. Coming off a Salomon Villain, I wasn't sure if I'd like the slightly stiffer flex here. Then I took a couple laps and was enthralled. Like I said before, this thing rails and that medium flex is a big part of it. On the flip side, it's not so stiff that it can't be pressed and jibbed to your heart's content.

3) It feels fast. It's either the base material or something else, but this board flies. It makes me excited.

4) This board will ride anything. While Backcountry labels this as a freestyle board, I feel very comfortable taking it to the pow. With the hybrid profile and directional twin shape, I have no worries of sinking and never coming up.

If you're looking for a unique, amazing riding board to add to your quiver, check this thing out. It's worth it!

These are my favorite no shows, whether for myself or as a gift to a friend. The grip in the heel actually works to keep the sock correctly situated on your foot. The fit is on point. With stance you get great materials, unique vibes, and a decently durable product. Bring a little spice into your foot game. Get some Stance.

I gave these to my friend for his Birthday. He was between these, the Katanas and the Miura. He mostly climbs the cottonwoods out here in UT and occasional gym. He found these to be high performance, while still being comfortable as well.

Krew makes my favorite denim and these are no different. I own a few pairs of K Skinny and K Slims. The Skinny's are more snug than the slims. Denim does wash out color over time. I suggest not pushing in the drier and washing only when needed to keep them looking fresh.

I love this thing. For the money it is hard to beat. It's warm, comfy and has a nice slim, long fit. Plus you get a free movie! A couple notes: the hood is permanent attached. The insulation is light but warm enough for a winter day.

Size wise, I am always between M and L on everything. I went L with this, as I was mostly using for snowboarding. If I were using for a street piece, I think I would have gone M.

I purchased this in the Dark Heather Grey color. A few quick observations. The black patches on these are more of a nylon type material than cotton. It reminded me of the material on the sholders of a North Face Denali jacket. Fit was about what I expected from Nike. I wished it was slightly more slim, but not a huge downer. Sizing is where I felt most perplexed. I'm 5'11", 165lbs. The medium seemed like the right street size. I almost could go large though, depending what you're using it for. Large would be ideal if I was going to snowboard in it.

I love these bindings. The Shadow Fit heel pocket is super unique. It's flexible and gives the binding a surfy feel. The District specifically is the softest of the Salomon Shadow Fit bindings. That said I would call it a medium flex compared to most models from other brands. I wear a 9.5 Burton boot in the M and the size is spot on. Give em a chance!
