Favorite Light Weight Glove
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have tried a lot of gloves. This is currently my favorite light weight glove. Great on lead ice. Excellent dexterity and just enough warmth to get through long pitches even in cold weather. The pre curved articulated fingers are great for holding tools. You won't be fighting your gloves for grip in these.

There is very little insulation in this glove.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are my favorite tools right now. I have climbed on Grivel, BD, and Petzl. I notice complaints about these tools sticking too well. If you file the coating off the tip they are easier to remove. When I've tried climbing with one Cassin x-all mountain and similar tool (one each) I find myself swinging 4x less with the Cassin. This tool has an easy to learn sweet spot swing with a great pick angle.

Yes, they stick well with little effort. That's a good thing in my book. Awesome ice tool.

The latest version is anodized.
