Familiarity: I've used it several times

When I first bought my hammock I thought I'd save a few bucks and just go to my local rock climbing store and buy some thin climbing rope but I ended up not getting enough and it was just a pain and I ended up buying these anyway which are a lot easier to use.

So if you get a hammock get these too. Definitely the best option.

These were my first climbing shoes but luckily I don't have a faint heart cause holy smokes these don't feel like a pair of sneakers!

I heard these are better for people with a bit narrower feet, which I don't have but I decided to tough it out anyway and I literally had to tough it out the first time I wore these. They almost put me to tears.

Thankfully after a few wears they are breaking in and don't starting hurting until I finish the climb (still definitely can't lounge around in them)
The good new is that these things grip awesome! I was able to stand on footholds that the rest of my group couldn't which made up for my serious lack in climbing skills.

The laces are bit of a pain but I think it's worth it for how much better the fit is. for reference I wear a 7 in street shoes and bought 37.5 in these.

You may laugh but I got this for the sole purpose of chopping down the corn in our garden at the end of the growing season because I was tired of using little garden snips and cutting them one at a time...it's like eating dry rice with chop sticks...Anyway, for all intents and purposes this machete worked great!

If you do a lot of chopping and will be using a machete very very often this probably won't last you too long but if you are using a machete every once then you don't need anything more than this.

I'm keeping it in my car now just in case my car happens to break down in a rain forest and I have to do some crazy survivalling or something. It has a pretty gnarly saw on the other side (as you can see) so if the blade goes bad I'm going to use the saw end and get some good use out of it.

Really I don't plan on using it more than about once a year but it sure is nice to have around just in case

As everyone has said, this is an awesome kit to get started with. You don't get to pick the chalk bag or belay device colors but if you're starting on a budget this is the way to go!

The harness is a bit on the bulky side and I feel like I sweat a bit more with this one vs. my other harness, but it's definitely a comfortable fit. And I also really like how you can adjust the leg loops but the end of the strap is still connected to the harness so you don't have to worry about the straps flapping around.

The only thing I would add to these reviews is to make sure you double back on the waist belt because otherwise it will slip and loosen up on you while climbing. I forgot to double up once (novice move) and lets just say I had a slightly terrifying repel down afterwards.

This is by far the best looking harness in this price range and honestly is a lot better looking than a lot of more expensive options.

It's really comfortable but not super bulky so it's light weight and breaths really well.

Honestly cannot get over how beautiful it is!

I'd prefer a plastic cover over the gear loops and the waist belt is pretty long (harness runs pretty big, I would not recommend this harness for a small person) but other than that it is awesome!

I like many others was a bit skeptical about these because of the wire gate but I've been pretty impressed with them.

It seems like these clip on a bit easier than my other ones which is really nice when you're barely hanging onto the rock with shaky legs, so I was pretty excited about that.

The webbing is narrower than on my other quickdraws so I'm not sure how long they will last but for the price I feel pretty good about them.

I can't really think of a reason not to get this bag. It's backpack style vs. a duffel bag style like a lot of rope bags. So if you have to walk very far to your climbs this pack makes it way easier.

The mat/tarp is pretty good sized and I didn't have any trouble fitting a 9.8 70m rope on it. Plus it has loops for both ends of the mat so you can just tie the ends of the rope to the loops and stuff the rope in the bag and won't have to untangle anything ever!

I was able to put my rope and quick draws in this bag but didn't have much room for anything else. It has a few loops on the front of the bag though so I just clipped everything else I needed onto those.

Only change I'd make would be a bit nicer shoulder straps and/or a waist belt so it's even more comfy for those long ascents.

I basically just rinsed this out before I took it on a little camping trip and oh man was that mistake. My first few cups of cocoa tasted super funky...but after that it worked great!

I've only used it for warming up water so far, since the pan is pretty light it warms up really fast which is nice.

I'm able to fit my MSR stove and propane tank inside with it as well to save space, which is exactly what I wanted so no complaints here!

I can't speak for durability yet but as long as I have no issues there it will be a 5 star item

My family has been die hard converted to Prana so I got these for my brother. He absolutely loves them just as much as he loves the pants.

The material is magical

They hold up well, look super sharp (I don't think the pictures do them justice) and are ridiculously comfortable.

In 100% honesty and seriousness, if you are looking for a camp/hike short look no further. These are amazing!

I was looking for an approach shoe that could scramble up some rocks but still be comfortable to walk in and these definitely fit the bill.

In my opinion there are other approach shoes that would do a bit better on the rock scrambling side of things but these definitely do better on the regular hiking side of things.

The vibram sole is great, super grippy (a little heavy). I haven't had them long so can't say much for durability but I think they will last a good long time.

The toe box fit a little funky at first. There were a couple weird pressure points where the rubber meets the leather but once we went with a size up the shoes wore in well and the pressure points went away.

My bro usually wears a 9-9.5 so we went with the bigger side of things and got the 42.5 but those were small so bumped up to a 43 and they fit great!

I bought these for my sister in law and she loves them! Very comfortable stretch material, they look great (capri/short), wick away moisture and dry really quick.

I would definitely say these fit true to size but they do stretch so most people could probably get away with a size smaller if you want a snugger fit.

Compared to the more expensive competition, it's a great deal for what you are getting!

These pants are fantastic! I wear them everywhere, everyday and in all of the colors. I can wear this climbing, to school, to work and if I feel like getting fancy in town I can pull that off in these pants too! Honestly the best pants I have ever worn.

I saw my brother wearing the mens version a few years ago and knew I wanted them...now every member of my family owns at least 1 pair.

Size wise I'd say they do run way big, I usually wear like a 4 (I think...it's been so long since I've bought any pants but these) and my favorite fit in these is a 0 short size which feel like they were tailored for me. I can also wear a 2 short or regular inseam but I don't like that fit as well, they are little bit baggy and too long except with taller shoes.

The buttons must be sharp on the inside or something because I have had to sew the top buttons back on on a few pairs but it's a price I am willing to pay.

In short, get these pants and you will never go back.

Alright, so I have this awesome looking rain jacket that worked super well when I first got it and now several washes and a year later it doesn't repel water nearly as well as it did before.

I bought this wash to try and get it back to life and working again, the wash definitely did help make it more waterproof again but I still feel like my jackets doesn't repel as well as it used to. I was too lazy at the beginning to buy this and I think I'm paying for that.

So...if you want your gear to last longer get this and don't wait like I did!

Wow, these are really good climbing shoes and they are super comfortable right out of the box! Not to mention they are a super good deal for what you get.

I usually wear and 8 or 8 1/2 in street shoes and I ended up with a 38, they are pretty dang tight but not painful and they've stretched out to my foot so they are getting more comfortable each time I wear them.

I' m pretty new to climbing and based off of reviews and more experienced climbers I chose these shoes. I really think they are the best shoes for anyone starting out or who isn't a super serious climber and only goes once in a while.

I can attest that climbing shoes will wear out pretty fast as a new climber so it's good to get a pretty low priced shoe to start out.

Even as I get better and more serious I think I will still keep a pair of these around though cause they are so comfortable!

This thing is teeny teeny tiny. Truthfully it is slightly bigger than an orange soda...more like a super sized soda but it's still much smaller than anything else I've used.

4 inches of pillowy air is plenty to keep your achy camping back at bay. Honestly you could sleep on a river bed and probably be fine as far a comfort goes.

It took me about 1 min 15 seconds to blow the whole thing up...I did feel super lightheaded after blowing it up that fast but most people could set it up in under 2 minutes and feel just fine even if you're tired and have been hiking all day.

As far as materials go, it feels kind of rubbery to me...like a rubbery plastic mix that is light weight, doesn't make a lot of noise if you move around and feel pretty durable. It also comes with a patch kit so if you do have any mishaps on the road then you can fix it and keep on camping.

Now as far as my impression of it...
I got the 20R version, it works really well for a small 1 or 2 person tent, a hammock or whenever sleeping space is an issue. That being said, if space isn't an issue I sprawl out too much for the narrower pad so if you aren't backpacking and or space isn't an issue I'd go with the wider one if you like to spread your wings in your sleep like me.

Secondly, I sleep on my stomach and I've found that I like the horizontal baffles a little bit better for that. If you are a side sleeper or maybe even a back sleeper this pad is great!

I bought these sunglasses but ended up having to return them.

These glasses fit and feel fantastic, really good snug fit that just feels at home on your face.

I really wanted to keep these but I got the rose gold color and they have a really significant gradient lense that for whatever reason my eyes picked up on and so it was like turning the lights on and off really fast every time I shifted my gaze.

I feel like on an overcast day these would be perfect but for a super bright sunny day the rose gold just didn't quite fit the bill for me

Let me start out with saying that the packaging is fantastic. My very first impression of these glasses was "wow, they put some money into this box". That may sound kind of weird but when you're paying $150+ I really appreciate a company that is willing to put a little money into the presentation that we call a box.

These come with a very generously sized hard case with a little baggy for your glasses as well as an extra set of lenses. The case fits the glasses and extra lenses perfectly which is another little thing but it just shows that 100% looked into the details on these glasses.

Now, getting into the glasses themselves. I can't speak for the men but from a female perspective I am NOT wearing these around town with the girls. They look almost exactly like a miniature version of 100% accuri goggles without the bottom border. So...they don't exactly make you look fly on your way to the movies.

As far as womens fashion goes these glasses kind of belly flop. But who cares, these are performance glasses so how do they perform?

I really like these for riding. The lense sits far away from your face which I thought was odd at first but you don't have sweat dripping down your glasses and you can get a good breeze on your face the whole time. Having the big lense and minimal border also really helps with field of vision and I definitely prefer these to my previous pair of riding glasses that were smaller and had a full frame.

For the ladies there's nothing more annoying than putting your sunglasses on your head and then having the nose pieces get stuck and tangled in your hair when you try to put them back on your face. These glasses never do that...EVER.

I got the neon yellow/smoke version. The black lenses are pretty typical, I do like the clarity and they are just dark enough to cut the edge off the sun without occluding your vision at all. The other lenses (low light) that come with it are not totally clear, they have more of a mirrored finish to them so they work really well at dusk and even on a cloudy day. The low light lense will work at night but because it isn't entirely clear it's not my favorite for night riding but it definitely works.

As far as sizing goes, I have a pretty small head and I was worried these wouldn't fit but with the rubber pieces on there they stay on my face just fine. That being said, they are big enough to fit a head larger than mine as well.

All in all I am pleased with these. They vent well, you can hardly notice them in your peripheral vision and they are comfortable.
