Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This top is really cute and flattering ... and it's wool, so what's not to like? One thing to note is that it is definitely not midweight as described. I have several tops from Icebreaker and Smartwool in various weights and the Ponder 2 would be lightweight in the Smartwool lineup, or 200 weight in Icebreaker. Hope this helps.

The description of this shirt is incorrect regarding the pocket. It has 3 back pockets and NOT one zippered pocket. I would have much preferred a single pocket for mountain biking, as when I wear a Camelbak I have no need for pockets. They only act as an extra band of material to add to the sweatiness of my lower back. Otherwise this jersey is cute and fits nicely. Wool is the best.

Very comfortable and cute top. You can run in it, go out on the town in it, or travel in it. The fit is slim--you can fit a cami under it but not really anything else. The graphics are a nice detail and make it a little more special for wearing out and about. It's definitely more than just a sports top or an under layer...

How does the weight of this compare to either Icebreaker or Smartwool? Is 17.5 microns closer to 150 or 200 weight Icebreaker pieces? OR comparing it to Smartwool, would it be more like their microweight tops, or the lightweight ones? Or is it even heavier than those? Thanks.

I love this top. As the previous reviewer stated, It is fitted, but not too tight. There is room for a base layer underneath and it has cute, flattering lines. I am 5'7" 125 lbs and 34B and the size small fits perfectly. I also have long arms and (perhaps because of the thumbhole feature) the sleeves are plenty long enough. It's so cozy, you won't want to take it off!

This sounded like it would be cute and flattering, but I was really disappointed. I am 5'7" 125 lbs and 34B and pretty much always wear a size small. This top fit more like a (relaxed) medium. It just hung on me. Maybe if you get a size smaller than usual, it would work since the image of the top shows it to have nice lines. It's cozy material and seems well made, but I was astonished at how "off" the sizing was. I ended up with the Marmot Powerstretch half zip which fit perfectly (room for a base layer, but still nice and fitted).

If you order your regular size, know that the Chakra zip fits skin tight in the torso. I was hoping to use this top as an extra layer for running/biking over a sleeveless or short sleeve top, but there is absolutely no room for another layer beneath it. I usually wear a small and have an athletic build (no belly to speak of). I don't want to go a size up as then it will be too big across the back and chest (you know -- that "bat wing" under arm effect). The sleeves are nice and long and it is a well-made piece. If it had a little extra room in the torso, it could function as a base layer as well as a second layer... and be perfect. As is, it's not a keeper.
