Here is a picture of the chamois-

You can also have a look and read about the chamois in the Xenon Sonic bibs on that site and look at the review in Pezcycling- the link is lower down on this webpage.

I can say this much- I have the Gore Power Bibs and the Gore Xenon Sonic (2 pairs each). I have tried many other brands but Gore is light years ahead. Quality is top notch, stitching and seams are flat and cause absolutely no irritation.
The Power Bibs are on the lower end compared to the Xenons and yet perform better than bibs at twice its price so you should expect great performance from the Xenons.

The Xenon Sonic has gel cushioning and you will not notice any impression of stitching or chamois on the outside when you wear these. I will not wear anything other than Gore gear (the jerseys are first class as well) because they have proven to be the best- comfort, functionality and quality. Oh, and I don't need to use chamois cream even on a 5 hour ride with the Sonics. Excellent chamois, perfect compression.

One last thing, when you shop at Realcyclist, you become a customer for life- best service guaranteed.

Okay, definite no-brainer at the discounted price of under $100.00 and even at the normal price it still is a must buy. I normally wear small in PI, Gore etc and chose the small in these as well thanks to advice from the live chat...I know it was taking a chance considering all the advice to size-up. For my size and shape the small in these bibs fit even better than the other brands. Extraordinary compression without tightness and comfortable shoulder staps as well.
The stitching is, as mentioned in earlier reviews likely to be the main gripe for some, but still, no way near a deal breaker. The chamois- the very best of Capo as on their most expensive, high end stuff that will take you through a few hours without any discomfort.
Great value for money and top quality.

The last review is spot on. Fit and function-wise, these are the most extraordinary bibs you will ever find. The chamois is brilliant and makes you ride that much longer as it is extremely comfortable, great at absorbing and dampening the impact of riding on rough roads and stays cool and dry in the most hot and humid weather. You just end up wanting to stay on the saddle. The leg grippers and overall fit of the material including the shoulder staps are superb even on the longest rides. Great compression without feeling tight. The material is a bit fragile (hence my title 'near' perfect) and you notice wear where the jersey zipper rubs on the fabric.
Worth ever cent you spend on these.
Yep, I normally use a small in other products and the medium here is right on the money.
