On first thought this pad looked a little thin even for an impact pad but it performs fantastic. Theres a waist strap for comfortable carrying on your back and the bottom strap helps keep anything you have inside from falling out. Construction wise it seems as durable as any other pad only time will tell. Absorbs falls very well, even a 15ish ft unexpected one that I pretty much landed on my back, knocked the wind out but saved my butt, kudos to my spotter as well on that.
