Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Picked up the Countdown 2.0 shorts in January. An off season bargain for $37.
Previously I've been wearing Endura Singletrack shorts the last couple of seasons and while these aren't made of the heavy material the Endura shorts are I've had no reliablility problems after about 50 rides. For hot weather riding the are definitely better than the Enduras. I find the fit to be slim and comfortable . I am 5'11'' and weight about 170 and have the medium size. The pockets work well but the standard for pockets is set by the Endura Humvee and Single track shorts with large volume pockets on the back of the thighs. Countdown 2.0 shirts - highly recommended.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

So far I've been delighted with the Countdown SO Hoodie. Mountain biking, Road biking, Golfing - all excellent. Golfing in light rain, no problem. Road ride last night at 50 F. It completely stops the wind, you don't feel a thing at 40 mph. It's a little too warm for 50 F ! This will get used for back country skiing as well. Stylish if you want to wear it in public. The hood is on the small side so it has to go under your bike helmet not over the helmet. It's a slim fit. The size large works well for me at 5'11" and 170lbs. There is still room for an insulating layer.
