Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

Really love the jacket, very light. Good warm/weight ration. Im going to use this jacket as a mid layer under my shell.

Its not the kind of down jacket you will want for your lunch stop in the backcountry or emergency as its more of a mid layer and go to jacket around town.

I also have the hooded phantom jacket which is also amazing, but different from the ghost whisperer

I really love mountain hardwear products
Im 5'11 140lbs Medium fit nicely

I first purchased the 2012 kelvinator jacket, did love it, but then i found the Phantom for a ridiculous price (180$). Honestly, both jacket are very nice, but if you can afford the phantom or find it on sale, dont hesistate to get it ! Its very lightweight, warm and compressible. Its alot more warm than the Ghost whisperer too as it have alot more fill weight. If your looking for an awesome down jacket at a reasonable price, get the phantom jacket.

Just bought this pack today, its very well made and very fonctional, tough i havent officialy tested it on the field yet!

I will mostly use this pack for Winter hiking and not for skying even if its supposed to be a ski pack...

there is just 1 thing...i cannot find the proper way to install my ice axe on this pack... like the small red rope on the front of the pack is just too close from the lower loop...its not like every other pack... I mean it would work if i wanted to have ski pole fix there but for an ice axe....doesnt work

I guess ill have to fix it in diagonal just like ski are supposed to be fixed...

Nice jacket, Bad Fit

I have receive this jacket from North Face due to their awesome lifetime warranty.
I got a Drummer blue in small size

This jacket is a very well made shell and has very cool ski feature like powder skirt, 2 ventilation front zip, helmet compatible hood, recco avalanche safety and internal pocket. Personnaly i really like the Drummer blue i think it look very nice with the yellow zip.

The big down side to me was the FIT of this jacket, I am 5'11 64kg and i received a small and DAM, seem to me that this jacket has horrible fit. Even using layer under, i felt it was big and i mean its a SMALL...very disappointing cuz i really like the feature and the look of this jacket.

So i suggest to check size in retail store before online order
I just bought Mountain Hardwear Jovian Jacket, so decided to sell my Terkko
