Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these to go with the matching top http://www.competitivecyclist.com/tyr-carbon-tri-tank-top-with-zipper-mens#wall-solicitations for my first half ironman and they worked great. I loved how fast they dried on the bike and I didn't even notice them under my wetsuit during the swim. I was a little worried at how snug the band was around my thigh but once the workout/race started it's exactly what I needed so they fit as they were intended. As with all tri shorts the pad is thiner than a normal bike short, but just enough to get you through the bike leg without much discomfort.

So I bought this top to go with the matching bottoms http://www.competitivecyclist.com/tyr-carbon-9in-tri-shorts-mens for my first half ironman. At first I thought the fit was too tight but then realized after seeing others at the race that this is how it was suppose to fit. I wore it under my wetsuit during the swim and didn't even notice it was on. Once I got on the bike I couldn't believe how fast it dried. I must have been completely dry by the first mile. Lastly, during the run I started to get pretty hot so I dumped a cup of water on my head and man did that feel good and again the shirt dried really quickly which was great. I appreciate the bright orange color so that I could be seen by cars. My only complaint was trying to get out of the shirt once the race was over and I was tired because the material doesn't stretch too much, but that was more of a me problem.

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 150 lbs
Size Purchased: 11

So I have bought the Wave Rider shoe series for the past 10 years and even though I tried other shoes I've not yet found one that stacks up. The first time I wore this shoe was in a marathon years ago because I liked how it fit and it was very breathable for hot days. Even though the style has changed over the years these 2 attributes have not. The reason I even try other shoes is because I love running and love shoes and want to try new things, but man when am I going to learn just keep with what works. If you are looking for a great road running shoe and your stride is pretty normal and you need average support I highly recommend this series and never looking back.

I was very happy with how this tool ended up performing. At a glance I didn't even think my chain was that dirty, but decided to try the tool just because it was new and wanted to see how it worked. I was surprised to see how much crap this tool cleaned out, and the chain looked awesome. It was very easy to load and very easy to run the chain through. Kind of fun to actually do and now seeing how dirty my chain actually was I will definitely clean it more going forward.

I started using this lube about 3 weeks ago in the Park City/Salt Lake City area. The climate here is high desert, so we don't have much humidity or rain but also don't get very high temperatures like Arizona. Granted my bike and components are fairly new but the lube is helping my bike run awesome. The consistency of the lube is nice and light. So far I have no complaints about this product.

I have now bought two of these. One small pack for myself and one medium size for the wife. The small pack has been perfect to fit the following and it's attachment straps are so good that it's snug into place and I never worry about it:
- CO2 kit http://www.competitivecyclist.com/innovations-air-chuck-elite-inflator
- Tube
- Tire Lever
I bought the medium for my wife because she likes to stuff other stuff in there like a phone or wind breaker. I would absolutely buy this product again and refer it to my friends.

So I bought the inflator along with some refills http://www.competitivecyclist.com/innovations-co2-refill and they are going to work out perfect. The size of both are perfect to fit into my small saddle bag http://www.competitivecyclist.com/timbuk2-seat-pack-xt along with a spare tube. This product is going to work out great and I'm ready for the next flat which hopefully doesn't come soon.

So I bought this to go with my T3 aero bars and I'm just not sold this is the setup for me. I love the Profile Design aero bars, but when I got the bottle and Universal Aerodrink Bracket neither had great instructions on how to attach it to the bike. Just a few better quality pictures would have been enough. I used the bottle just like the product picture above and had a big issue with liquid splashing out. I will try the splash sponge next, which is included in the package, to see if that helps. The biggest reason why this is probably not for me is I wasn't able to get used to having a long straw right in front of my face the entire time riding. I always had the feeling I was going to poke my eye. Now with the above being said I have seen tons of people use and like this product and I really didn't have the time before my first half to try different configurations and practice using the straw so it could just be inexperience.

So I bought a pair of these plus the Logo 6 socks http://www.competitivecyclist.com/castelli-logo-6-socks and both are great. They are perfect thickness, thin enough to feel light but not too thin that they feel like they are going to fall apart fast. I tend to like the Logo 3 better just because I come from a running background and prefer the shorter sock. On top of everything else the White/Black version looks great, but the white/red is pretty nice as well. I wear a size 44.5 riding shoe and 11 running shoe and the L/XL fits perfect. I have tons of workout socks in my dresser but picking these for my first half ironman (can't get myself to go sock-less)

So first off I love the Osprey brand and like much of what they produce. I bought this bag because I do a lot of 1-3 day work trips. My first impressions of the bag on the fist trip are the following:
- Pretty small interior
- Good quality fabric
- Fits great into the overhead
- Not great for picking up when doing stairs because your hand gets smashed into the extended handle
- Ive had better quality wheels
-Don't like the fact that I have to undue 2 clips just to get the zipper open
- Like the looks of the bag a lot, definitely unique
- Love the little zipper pocket on top for going through security

So for some stupid reason I thought I was buying replacement cleats and bought these which are just the bolts. I should have known by the price and title but I must have been in a hurry and just looked at the picture. Anyway the bolts are fine and they go with a great cleat that I've never had problems with.

So I bought these shoes to wear in my first half ironman because they looked like I could get then on and off fast with just the straps and not having any wheel to turn. This is exactly why they are working out great so far. I bought size 44.5 and I usually wear a size 11 running shoe and the fit is pretty much right on and maybe just a little big if anything. On one ride I got tons of my energy drink on them and I don't recall my feet ever getting wet and they wiped off easily with just a wet paper towel. They are very comfortable but feel stiff enough for my average riding style.

So just recently I've gotten back into swimming and been trying out different pairs of goggles. These are by far the best. The following are the reason why:
- Fit very well on my narrow face
- Not bulky like another pair of TYRs I tried
- Love the nose piece (but can break so be careful)
- The mirror helps a lot while in open water and not having such a big contrast from dark to light which gets me sick
- Doesn't leak like a pair of Speedo I tried
- two straps makes is very confortable
- Didn't fog up at first, over time they have started to a little but I use the TYR spray and that helps

So I really thought I needed to go with the T4, but didn't want to wait because it was on backorder so I went with T3 instead. I've now done 3 pretty long rides using these and I have absolutely no complaints. They were really easy to install and just took some tweaking to get the fit just right. Once on the bike they felt very sturdy and I felt that I had really good control of the bike. They might have been a few grams heaver than the more expensive models but lifting them out of the box they seemed really light. If you are not going to install the shifters through the bars you might want to put a piece of tap over the holes to avoid a whistle sound while riding.

So I have these pedals on both my wife's and my bike. The wife's pair is about two years old and mine just a couple weeks. Both have not disappointed and I really don't think twice about them. Clipping into the pedals seems very easy, but I'm also comparing it to my mountain bike pedals which seem a little more difficult. I also purchased a back of pair of cleats in the case the either of ours needs to be replaced. http://www.competitivecyclist.com/shimano-spd-sl-cleat-sets
