I have dreamed of a rain jacket like this for years. The fit is is excellent;offers great range of motion without bunching and shifting. Although it's construction doesn't appear to be tailored or "fitted", it hangs on the body as though it is -looks like a very nice jacket rather than a tent with arms. The material is awesomely thin like a high-end wind breaker and not at all crunchy like many rain jackets. Keeps me dry and comfortable in a downpour and packs down to the size of a baseball.

Hesitations/reservations: I've read that this jacket has gone through some evolutions as folks have encountered issues with the laminated fabric in earlier models. Because it is so thin, light, and packable, I sometimes worry I'll damage the zippers when balling it up tightly.

All has been great so far and I'd recommend this jacket to anyone.

T-shirt sleeves usually give me triangle wings pointing off my shoulders but not this shirt. The angled A cut fits the body perfectly, not tight but it follows the lines of the body. The fabric is amazing- lightweight, it breathes, keeps you cool, holds it's shape like a champ. I wish all t-shirts were cut like this.

I adore Smartwool and could live in it year round. I love it so much that I dream about it caressing my skin. This sweater however is the last of three Smartwool tops that I will have ordered and returned. The cuts and styling of their sweaters appear to be amazingly flattering and sporty but make me look like a frumpy, out-of-shape, beer belly sporting doof. I have a very average body shape and size with no belly. I'm still giving it good starz.

Best jacket/coat I've ever owned! The large fits like it was made for me. I'm 6', 185lbs, 34"waist with a V-shape upper body. The jacket is light as a feather and pretty thin for a coat so it was difficult for me to abolish my idea that weight and thickness equals warmth. This jacket is super toasty for running errands around town on a 16 degree day. I get tons of complements on it because it's form fitting and the style flatters my shape without sacrificing range of motion. I'm finally free of the big, puffy, restrictive coat!

This jacket has revised my definition of comfortable. When I wear it, I'm always the perfect temperature. It fits close without clinging, it doesn't ride up when I reach up, there is no bulkiness or extra fabric to get in the way, and everyone compliments the styling. It's one weakness is that the collar isn't lined and the fabric doesn't take kindly to razor stubble. It's a small price to be this comfortable though.

Just received it in the mail. Materials tag is modified from saying 60 cotton 40 poly to saying 70 poly 30 wool however the washing care instructions have not been corrected. Should I machine wash and tumble dry like it says? Also the sweater has shop scraps and random fibers embedded throughout. The stitching is kind of sloppy; unfortunate since the fabric is so comfy and sturdy.
