For many of my outdoor adventure years I've heard about "bomb proof" Bibler tents. For some reason Ive avoided purchasing one. But with the recent loss of my tent during a canoe trip mishap on the Colorado River I made the decision to buy an Awahnee model. I am not disappointed. On a recent winter camp trip to Wolf Creek pass Colorado during a fierce snow storm the single wall beauty performed up to its expectations superbly. I expect the Awahnee to give me many years of great service.
I am pretty impressed with the Revelation pack. I like its top loading simplicity; just a zipper that goes all the way across. Also, the pocket for the shovel and probes is really handy. It has all the room you need for a day of backcountry skiing. I haven't used the hydration pocket, ski loops or helmet attachment yet.
