Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I always wanted a Patagonia, but when I saw this thing come on sale last year I couldn't justify paying the extra money for the Patagonia and I'm glad I didn't!
The waist cinch and the tight wrists are a huge bonus. Packs up super tiny, great for a warmth layer between climbs or during breaks while ski touring.
Not a bad word to say about this jacket!

This is an awesome little shovel. Great size and weight, and really sturdy. I have used it for countless hours building kickers and practicing rescues in the last four years.

It is starting to show signs of wear and it has a little more play between the handle and the scoop than I would like, so I am going to retire it after this season, but it certainly doesn't owe me anything.

I have used this thing for 4 years now. I have played around with a few of the Ortovox beacons since then, but I couldn't be happier with this one.
It is incredibly easy to use, especially for single burial. Multi-burial takes a lot more practice, but that's true to all beacons.
Don't hesitate to get this thing!

I used this pack for pretty much everything, for just over a year. Overnighters, sport climbing, and even just as a suit case sometimes, it does the trick. There is nothing wrong with the pack, but it fits really awkwardly if you're tall.
I am 6'1" and I couldn't stand how it sat on my back. I spent hours trying to adjust it to sit better, but I eventually gave up and returned it. I wouldn't recommend this pack for anyone taller than 5'10" or 5'11".

This are super comfortable flip flops, but I they are not the most durable. I definitely used them a lot, and I am not easy on footwear, but I only had them for about a year and then the piece between your toes snapped. I gave it 4 stars though because as long as you are not crazy hard on them they should last a long time and they are super comfy.
