Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Just got a pair last month and I think I've found my new "stockpile" shoe! I have always been a fan of Merrells, in particular their laceless Jungle Mocs. These are the Mocs' more badass younger brother, with the same slip-on ease and comfort but built to take a beating and drive on! The ankle is a touch lower on these and while you'd think they have NO support, the tight neoprene collar ensures that you have little to no slippage and plenty of support under your malleoli. About the only issue I've found so far is that after extended use and tension on the quick-lace, it will start to stretch meaning you'll have to tighten it beyond where you think and then have to deal with the ever growing excess.

Another difference, for me personally anyways, is the sizing. In the Mocs' I get a 10 (half size small) to compensate for breaking them in. But with these, some magical intuition struck and I got them in 10.5 and I am SOOO glad I did. They are perfectly snug in all the right places and so far have not budged a millimeter after 30 days of 24/7 use!

Amazing buy, get them before they're gone!!

This belt is beyond badass! It's got the feel, the look and all the tools you're gear-minded heart could desire. The only issue I've found is that the flathead bit is just a touch too big for the holes so you'll want to "screw" it in rather than force it or you could split the leather. Still a sick accessory for any bad boy look!

I have been wearing this style of Merrell since they first came out with it! Even though they're lace-less, the ankle support stays pretty steady so long as you're just using them for around town/work and not running through the overgrowth. The stock insoles are fantastic once you start breaking them in and last pretty much the life of the shoe. I wore my last pair until all the tread was completely smooth and the insoles were breaking down and my feet still felt right at home and comfortable, though I don't recommend wearing them that long or doing strenuous activities at that stage!
