I love Ibex clothing and own several pieces and these pants are great....but they were short on me. I always order a small for my 5'7", 130lb frame and usually it fits perfectly. These pants just reached the base of my ankle and I was hoping they would fit like the energy pants I own, which is to the base of my shoes. Sadly, I had to return them as I know a medium would be too big in the waist.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Prana clothing and have quite a few pieces in my closet. But this sweater was not very attractive on and the material was kind of cheap looking. The fit was odd. The torso was short and the sleeves very long....my hands disappeared completely. I am 5'7", 130lbs., and ordered a small which was the size I always order in Prana, but this sweater was just all wrong....I returned it.

My husband always says he doesn't need anything....but he has yet to take this jacket off. He loves it! He wears it to work, to soccer practice, to the playground, out to dinner, skiing, hiking, dog walks, you name it! He can layer if it is really cold, he stays dry if it is raining. He is 5'11", 185lbs. and the XL fit him really well with room for layering. We bought it on sale and what a steal for a Gortex jacket. I know he will have this well-made jacket for a while and it has a classic look so it will not go out of style. I am pleased with my purchase and so is he, although he would never admit it :-).

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them! Got a size large for his 35" waist. It was a bit big but able to cinch up the waist and they fit perfectly, especially with a baselayer. He also loves the dark gray color. He wears them for skiing and playing in the snow with the kids. The pants keep him very dry and warm.

First Stoic purchase and I am pleased. Had to return the small for a medium which I am glad I did. I am 130lbs, and 5'7" tall. Now I can wear them with a baselayer and be able to snap the waist shut. Wore them skiiing in 12 degree weather and was warm. There is no gaiter but the pants run narrow at the bottom and did fit over my ski boots and kept the snow out. I also use them for walking the dogs in the woods. A good all around pant at a good price. The Not Black color is great; a dark gray.

This was my first Arcteryx purchase. I have often eyed their stuff and wondered what made it so expensive. This is a nice jacket, but I guess I expected more. It is not a technical jacket. I wear it around town, but do not find it especially warm. It is thinner than I expected and it has begun to pill a little after its first wash near the pockets. The sleeve cuffs allow the sleeve to be long enough for my long arms, but it is not very elastic so I can't push the sleeves up at all and it constricts around my watch and makes it hard to take off at times. The berry color is beautiful though. And the jacket is long and sits at my hips which is nice. I bought a small for my 130 lbs., 5'7" frame and fits true to size. Not sure if I will invest in another Arcteryx......I may just stick with Patagonia, Mountain Hardware and Marmot stuff from now on as I can get what I expect and at prices which aren't too crazy.

I have always been a fan of Patagonia, but they have really out done themselves with this jacket. I bought my first Patagonia gortex shell 20+ years ago and it just recently lost some of its waterproofing and the zipper is starting to snag. I expect this jacket to last just as long. We just went skiing this past weekend and it was a wet, cold one. I was dry and warm. I layered it with their down sweater jacket. The small fit my 130lb., 5'7" frame perfectly with 2 layers underneath. The collar zippers up high and kept my face warm and dry on the ski lift. The purple color is great too. The jacket hits just below my waist but the skirt fits snugly and no snow got in. This jacket is worth every penny and I am sure to enjoy it for a long time.
