Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love this vest, it's soft, warm, compresses very small into it's own stuff sack, roomy hood, flattering cut. I only had to return mine because it ran almost a full size too big. I tried to make it work by wearing a thick winter hoody underneath, but even then size M felt too roomy. I'll be definitely replacing it with a smaller size (esp. if there's more color selection, I used to have light blue one and loved it. The new colors are a bit too trendy, and aside from black, they don't go with too many items in my wardrobe).

A very nice jacket, warm, well-made, which is to be expected of OR brand. Their jackets tend to run half or full size too big, so if you are between sizes, go with smaller one. The only downside is that the cut is quite boxy, so there's a lot of fabric around my waist, while being just right around my hips (and my waist is not tiny by any means). Also, I'm 5'7" and it hits me only about 1" below my hip bones. Since I got it on sale, it's worth keeping. But if I were to buy a quality softshell for full price, I'd look for a more feminine cut.

This jacket feels weightless and breathable. Perfect for cool days, hiking and running. The Steel color is very nice, not your boring black, and has very subtle pattern to it. I'm 5'7" and about 135lbs, usually wear small for the top and 6/8 for the bottoms. I got this jacket in US 8/UK 10 after reading that it runs small and it's an excellent fit for me, but I wouldn't say it's fitted. There's still plenty of room to wear thicker fleece top underneath. The sleeves are perfect length though, I think if I went a size smaller for a more fitted look, the sleeves would be too short. Overall I love it! I'd give it a 6th star if it had a hood that you could stuff into the collar :)
