I've been using this mitten for about three seasons now and I am VERY pleased with this product. I cross-country ski on the Bighorn Trail / Fawn Pass Loop in northwest Yellowstone National Park and my hands used to always be cold. Now, with these new mittens, my hands are VERY warm 99% of the time.
I ski in temperatures ranging from 10*F to 35*F and these gloves keep my hands cozy. Occasionally, if the wind is blowing hard, I will get a slight chill, but for the most part you will be happy with this mitten.
Removing and putting on this mitten is quick and easy. When I pause for a break the mitten design allows them to fit easily over my poles that I've thrust upright in the snow on either side of the track. The cuffs are perfect for what I need, fitting nicely over the extended sleeves of my wind-block fleece jacket. If I could give these mittens eight stars, I would!
My hand measures 8.5 inches across (from tip of outstretched thumb to tip of out stretched little finger. I have a men's medium and it is very comfortable. Yes, I think they run large and you'll want to move down.
I've been using these poles on the extremely steep trail up to and down from the ridge above the "M" in Bozeman, MT. The wrist straps are extremely comfortable in all situations, relieving the numbness in my hands experienced with other straps. I bought these poles primarily for ease of length adjustment in cold weather. These poles get five stars from this user!
These biking shorts are extremely comfortable. I use them on my touring bike (put 240 miles on last weekend) and they kept me cool and comfortable. I especially like the cuff and the long inseam. I'm 5'10.5" and 165 lbs with long legs and a short torso. I ordered the medium ("M") and they fit very well. Wash before use to avoid a little chaffing. I recommend these short to anyone looking for comfort in the heat of Summer.
Also, these shorts are quite stretchy and will adjust to a variety of body types. On me, they give good compression while not feeling at all restrictive.
This carrier is very comfortable on my sixty-one year old back. Adequate support and padding keeps it comfortable, even on warm days. The pullout sunshade is very effective in protecting my granddaughter from the direct, overhead sun. What could be better? Hard to say ... though it would be nice to have the ability to shift a child higher or lower with out adjusting the back support straps. What you get with this product is a very good solution to carrying an infant. I use it for about an hour and ten minutes of continuous walking daily.
