Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I stash this bag with everything I need. Sneakers, gym clothes, yoga mat, water bottle and my tupper wear dinner. While it doesn't have a padded section, the waxed canvas keeps out the rain so I'll slip my laptop in there too. Keys and wallet slip into the front pocket so they won't disappear into the oblivion.

These pants are simple. They fit looser than the cara pant (hip though knee) but they are still slim enough to be flattering. I grabbed these because I needed some basic black pants but I wasn't planning on wearing them often. That changed once I put them on. Comfy is the name of the game.

These are not your regular snow pants, they are stretch twill, kind of like stretch jeans so you might want to size down. I wear a Large in Holden Cara pants but a medium in these babies. (a little bit roomier around the knee) While not the warmest or most waterproof, I wear them for racing or lapping the pipe.

After struggling with broken SL laces, I swapped for traditional laces. If your going to splurge on anything. Start with boots, more specifically, these ones. These boots have a medium stiffness to give you enough support without limiting motion. They also have a high density foam outsole (tech talk) that means that they are strong, durable and super light. I like my boots snug, but these have a wide toe box that gives me some breathing room, and enough space for toe warmers on those super duper cold days.

I have custom ALine footbeds so heatmolding wasn't really necessary. If you don't have footbeds, you can heat mold at home. I suggest rice: http://www.yobeat.com/2012/12/04/how-to-heat-mold-your-boots-at-home/

I've been looking for the perfect pant for a few years now. These are a winner. They look loose on the model, but I'm a real girl, with curves. I wear a 28 Jean and these are a tight fit through the knee with a gradual flair (size Large); exactly how I wanted them. They have a 34in inseam so if your 5'0' this is not the one for you. There is a leather trim on the back to keep the hem from fraying. Thanks Holden!

I travel a lot so I wanted something that I could pack in my bag. This was the winner.

The cushion is perfect, but I really love the anti-slip surface because my palms sweat when I do yoga. With other mats I slip all over the place, but prAna took care of that. If your looking for a nice mat that's easy to transport, this one is perfect. (it's also cheaper than some of the others.) You can have it all!

I was worried about this digging into me, but the small is perfectly comfortable. I almost forgot I was wearing a bra; even though I'm a 34B. It doesn't provide enough support for running, but its perfect for yoga. I bought it to layer with my backless tops. Sure beats the cotton bracelets.

I stopped wearing board shorts because they were always built for 12 year old girls. Ever heard of something called hips? Well, forget what you thought you knew about board shorts and score these. They do run a tad small. I wear a 28 jean and wear a Medium.

I don't typically splurge on yoga pants, but these were worth it. I could live in them! The foldover waist band is super soft cotten blend (kind of like your favorite tshirt) and it can come up as high or low as you like. I love that the stretch fabric is also super soft, which really differs from your average pant. I wear a 28 Jean and the small is perfect.

I've been looking for the perfect weekend dress that can take me from the pool to the farmers market and back again. This is it! Super comfy but nice enough to take out on the town. I love the scrunching under the bust because it adds structure and draws the eye up. If you wear a 27 or 28 jean, the small fits perfectly!

This super light chair made my trip to the beach awesome. The strap makes it easy to tote even though my hands were already full. A lot of chairs don't accommodate for height, but this was perfect for both tall adults and short kids. It sheds water and sand to dry quickly.

I'm not a fan of mittens, but these were a life saver. They have fleece inside that separate your fingers so it still feels like a glove but keeps your hands toasty warm. I also don't normally wear gloves over my sleeves, but the cuffs are so cute and cozy I really didn't mind. Heaps of compliments! Smooth Burton, real smooth!

I have a race board with a base like butter. The Burton board sleeves are my go to to protect my equipment. It's easy to slip on and it protects my base in storage, during transport, and against the element. It's too bad they're out of 160's. I want another one!!!

I'm on my second pair of Targa gloves. The last ones lasted a good 300 days before the leather deteriorated. If the temperature is in the 20's these gloves are warm enough alone, if its less than that, I slip on some glove liners to keep my fingers toasty.

This is the perfect jacket for layering. If you need a jacket that does it all, this belongs in your closet. I wore this jacket everyday for 3 months straight. Wearing it alone for everyday errands or layering up for super cold days on the slopes. I'm 5'5" and my hips are wider than my shoulders. The medium fit perfectly. Escape the black masses!
