Not much padding, excellent fit. Word of advice to avoid tearing your gloves like others here, and this is for all brands, is to pull Velcro-less gloves off your wrist before pulling from the finger tabs. They fit tight for a reason. Ordering a couple more pairs as we speak. They are true to size.

With the small tube and a small paintbrush, this is the cleanest way to apply tubular glue. Allows for multiple layers before mounting the tire and hasn't failed me yet after hundreds of miles.

That's the best description I can offer. This bar tape is very soft but doesn't prevent feeling the bars or cables if underneath. Definitely the most comfortable tape I have used and will continue to use in the future. I opted for the white blue and it looks awesome if you can get the transition point right.

Chamois thickness is all preference so do try different shorts and find what you like amongst brands. These work well for any distance riding and are great for the SoCal weather. I am going to say size down on these and allow the compression in the core so the legs fit properly. Overall, they are totally worth $50 and I'm amazed at how all the reviews are basing quality off of not liking a feature of the shorts vs actual usage.

These are great entry level tri shoes. Zac is correct in that if that toe smashed, it kind of stays that way..... permanently. The pull tab is made to be cut to length, very comfortable and a good all around value for what you get. I would almost suggest buying a half size smaller than listed as they seemed to soften and stretch after a couple rides. This is the case for me going barefoot now. Like said above, not the best, not the worst, but a good start.

Very lightweight and probably my most comfortable bib short. My only issues are the tag on the shoulder band could not be any more dead on with nipple placement, remove it or be raw and the leg band is a tad loose. Wish they specified thigh diameter with the sizing. Medium feels good on my frame at 5'9" 155lbs so I don't know how the below user is going to squeeze himself into a small given his height. May swap for small to fit the thigh.

Quality of the stitching isn't anything stunning but it does what's expected. Great for cold morning rides as a layer too. Machine wash often to avoid a salt ring on the black version.

I have tried many different brands of roadie shorts over the years and these are my current favorites. The multi density padding really helps prevent that numb feeling you get after a long ride. Very comfortable and true to size. Would definitely recommend these shorts when hucknroll has them in your size.
